You are actually denying, that being white is a privilege? Might as well question that the earth is in fact a ball.

 

Since I'm not the one who made the statement, I'll go ahead and wait on someone to explain why being white = privilege before I go off on why it doesn't. I'll give you that it does in some cases, but it's based on geography and demographics. Where I'm from it doesn't mean ****.

I am not denying there may be some "privileges" to being white, however, I will deny that just being white means you will have an easy life.

You will have an easier life by default. This is not up for debate. The **** do I know if it's gonna be easy or not but you sure would've been in worse situation if you were black and gay along with whatever problems you already have, no?

You didn't seem too bothered by the OP's generalizations (for which he admittedly apologized) nor did you call him out, but now that I confront you with a pretty ugly truth both of us have benefitted from all our lives, you seem upset?

Ok I am not going to respond to the first part because we could go back and forth on that forever.

Regarding me ignoring his "generalizations" I have replied to the thread he made on that subject, previously.

 

I don't know if being a white male in America has privileges or not but I do know for a fact that a lot of black people, especially in the hood do have it VERY hard and I've experienced this first hand growing up in East Oakland and being around them all my life, just like me a lot of them came from broken families where both parents aren't in the picture and with nobody there to give them ANY sort of guidance or parental care and it's not a surprise as to how an individual with that type of childhood will turn out as adults. I look back at my life and it's a miracle that I'm not locked up or dead because I have many friends I grew up with that are locked up or dead.

 

It has nothing to do with his skills, hes a talented fighter with great potential.

He acted like a fn idiot though, comparing himself to all time greats, flushing money down the toilet, the backlash is not surprising at all to me because he's just not likable at all.

I hope he learns from it and bounces back though.
