Why does Cotto seem to fade?

    Always wondered this even going back to Malignaggi fight where i thought he slowed ended up getting wobbled. Mosley, clottey (ok cut eye) etc

    stamina issues he has improved on that lately

    Cotto only trains for 2 hrs and I do not think that's enough.He doesnt allow anyone to push him any further.In sparring once someone starts whooping his ass he fires them.He likes surrounding himself with yes men too but it's all linked to his stamina.He's one very self centred person who often overestimates his own intelligence.

    Against Malignaggi, it was the weight. He was drained in that match, was struggling to make 140..

    Stamina also, which he has improved upon.. But in most fights, he does seem to take a breather half way through, like against Mosley.

    I think he has and will always continue to gas early.

    I dont put this down to one of two things:

    Lack of proper training
    Genetics.
