I mean the Calzaghe from start to Kessler. :yep Prior to Kessler, Joe's resume was as weak as Golovkin's and prior to Froch, an old ancient damn near cripple Glen Johnson was Bute's best opponent, same as today's Golovkin.
well that's a bit unfair to bute, he was still a young man and was in the process of stepping up with froch. whereas calzaghe ran deliberately from a series of challenges to face mcintyres and veits, until the age of 34 when he realised he needed to begin a genuine world title career before he retired. fortunately crud lacy won the ibf title, and Kessler got injured, so joe capitalised after waiting 10 years for this to happen.
Perhaps, but I still believe Bute ducked the Super6 and then spread the rumor that he was locked out of the tournament. Too bad Calzaghe wasn't in the Super6. Forecasters would have surely pegged him as the tournament winner and Ward would have beaten him as easily as he beat Kessler.
Ward totally wants to fight, really...just not any time soon. Ward doesn't want to find out or he would've made a real offer. Moron
come on get real dude,. calzaghe made a 10 year title career out of ducking reasonable challengers for fringers and nobodies, hes hardly going to enter an event made up of back to back reasonable contenders
Bute was signed to HBO when the Super6 started, dumbf*ck. You're already on the internet. You can check this info before you come here and type this horse sh*t.
You are one stupid Mo'Fo Bute's people knew about the Super6 well before the short term HBO deal. :yep You must believe the Super6 concept was thought out on Monday and implemented on Wednesday. atsch
The guy is the best fighter in the sport today. Ran through the Super 6 with ease takes on all comers and wants to prove he's the best made GGG and his fans look like *****es with their excuse for ducking him and a smart well spoken guy. What's not to like?
Yes you can.:deal You say you will fight anyone 168-154 try to fight Froch and JCC Jr at 168 but the fights fall through Ward the man at 168 says I'll fight you GGG hides in the bathroom and says oh no 164 and I'm concentrating on unifying the 160 pound division. Ward moves up to 175 GGG and his fans come out of the bathroom. GGG and his fans wanted no parts of Ward at 168 and that can't be refuted. Career high payday and finally a chance to fight an elite fighter in over 30 fights and he ran away like a scaled dog, pathetic.:rofl
Better than GGG who has had a whole career of fighting mediocre opposition.:deal Ward has a much better resume than GGG does dummy if you say he doesn't you're even more senile than I thought old man.
He is the biggest hope for black fans now. They know that Wilder would lose to any elite opponent. Bradley started brawling and doesn't look that good anymore. Crawford looks very promising though and he is an exciting fighter to watch, there is also Spence, but these idiots prefer the boring, dirty fighter like Ward, because he was a p4p #2 and has 3 decent wins on his resume.
This human anxiety Over skin color Amuses us to no end Inside you are all red And black when you are dead And you will be dead For most of eternity What did you do With your fragment of time You hated Calzaghe The color of his skin As your days dim Life wasted again
"Much better" is exaggeration. Ward has only 3 good wins, and those were against overrated limited Euros. Abraham is about the same level as Murray (which will be proved soon). Froch and Kessler are a little better, but their skill set is limited. Ward never defeated a very skilled boxer.
