Yes it does, Hatton has proved that at welterweight he's nothing special. Just cause you're natural at a weight class doesn't mean you can't step up. Calzaghe a natural SMW beat a top 5 P4P in Hopkins at LHW. De La Hoya went up to 160 from JMW and got beat by Hopkins and got a gift against Sturm. Some people can do it, some can't. Mayweather can, as he beat DLH at 154. Hatton can't.

See you seem to think Hatton had extra poundage when he fought Mayweather. He didn't. Hatton weighed 160 when he fought Collazo.

When he fought Mayweather he weighed 154. That's what he normally weighs on fight night as a JR WW.

So just beacuse Mayweather can do it and Hatton cant thats an excuse to discredit his victory?

Yeah and he proved in both of those fights he should not be fighting at WW. Like I said some can move up and do fine and some can't. I give credit to Mayweather for his win against Hatton. But it's not as big as some people make it out to be.

I give credit for his victory over Hatton no doubt. But it's not even close to one of his top wins.

Being completely objective, Judah, Hatton, and Hoya were all good wins. Bladomir was a solid win because of his status at the time.

It would have made sense at 140 cuz it would have been for the linear 140 lb title.

Exactly,it favored Mayweather cuz he was at WW longer, felt better there,as Ricky is **** at WW cuz he doesn't carry the weight good,Floyd would have died to make 140 and would have favored Ricky at 140
