No, just no. The Croats fought the Ottoman Turks just like everybody else in the Balkans. Late 1800s into early 1900s to end of WW1 they were part of the multi ethnic Austro-Hungarian Empire. By WW1 the Turks had been almost completely driven out of SE Europe.

True, but a case of different combat sports. The other fighting sports don't seem to have the politics and economic red tape that classical boxing has. Cro Cop and his contemporaries fought more than once per year.

Hrgovic is still top 10, if you think he cant beat Ortiz, Chisora, Whyte, Ruiz, Parker, Sanchez, Dubois, Franklin, Wallin - you are wrong. Hed box the ears off most of them.

Zhang is a strong and imposing 6'6 280lb southpaw with a deadly left hand and right hook. A real threat.
