Yes Froch has had to travel to get the money fights, but Froch now has a TV deal now, as well as a very good fanbase in the UK, he is a draw now, the fight will fill a stadium in the UK now no problem, and thats the fundamental difference between him travelling then and him travelling now. What are you even getting at? I wasn't even talking about Andre Ward I was referring to the differences between how Froch has been on the road compared to Kesslers fights abroad.

I don't praise Hopkins for anything i prefer guys like Roy and Floyd. Hopkins longevity however is impressive precisely because hes great at spoiling and controlling the pace. Froch didnt control the pace vs Dirrell. He never mounted any offense besides fouls. Dirrell hurt Froch and landed the cleaner blows If i was a Froch fan I would want him to do what he did and it was a wise decision to do so instead of being consigned to being embarrassed by a superior gifted fighter
Wouldn't be as dumb as Ward going to Copenhagen. Fact is, Ward has all to lose traveling especially to England when he's purely a technical boxer. Dirrell did it for Froch and we all saw what happened.
Yup. Kesslers promoter even said at the time that he didnt want to stage it because he worried for Hausslers health, and that he tried to made WBA revoke Hausslers mandatory status.

They have travelled, is it 4 and 5 times respectively?, iirc the´ve both been in an opponents backyard 4 times and imo against roughly the same quality of opposition. There is no need to debate this, the only thing worth debating, is where this fight makes the most £££. These guys are warriors, they dont owe each other anything, kessler doesnt owe froch a rematch in england, just like ward doesnt owe kessler a rematch in denmark.

Only 3 fighters have been considered no. 1 in the division at different times over the last decade (and this is a must for being considered for the HOF)....: Calzaghe (after defeating Kessler until retirement), Kessler (in 2 rounds: first time after beating Beyer and becoming WBA and WBC champion, and second time in the period from Calzaghe's retirement until losing to Ward), and now Ward (from defeating Kessler until now). Froch has never been considered the best in the division. And then the kicker.... Kessler beat Froch when they fought. Carl neeeeeeeeeds Kessler and should go try to make a fight happen no matter where it will happen. Kessler needs Ward and has said he is willing to go once more to the US. That is the way to do it.
