with the GBP-Top Rank alliance, pac will get to fight jmm, guzman, valero, etc. after the rematch with mab. arum and schaeffer/dlh will surely setup these fights since it will bring them more millions. it's just that mab-pac2 currently offer their new joint partnership the biggest money making opportunity as compared to pac fighting these other opponents.

patience... i'm sure these other fights will be made. both GBP and TR will be fools not to.

One huge problem here is that all the people talking generic **** on this thread, including the sentiments of the original poster's question will be long buried and forgotten by the time the fight happens. What happens is MAB scores a stunning TKO? Nobody talking **** here will have to eat it, and they should be forced to. Matchmaking is not perfect in boxing, but fighting MAB coming off of a loss is nothing to scoff at. You never know.

you guys seem to be forgeting that MAB was the one who asked for this fight. pac was more than willing to fight soto. this fight had to happen because of the gbp-top rank peace talks. there's nothing else to it. nobody's ducking anybody.

:huh I dont see the hate you're talking about of Manny Pacquiao.

I see some hate for guys like domngo, Johnco, ravtrav, etc.....
....there's always hate for the nuthuggers around here, but I dont think there's any genuine hate of Manny.

Hey, I'm a big Marquez fan, but I have great respect for Manny Pac.

I can honestly say I'm a Pac fan. Nothing wrong with being a fan of both Marquez and Pacquiao!:good

......and I agree Chimba, part of my like for Manny Pac is that he comes across as a genuine great guy.
I dont know what he says in his own language, but it seems to me that he respects the fighters that he fights. He comes across as humble, and he gives 100% to his craft.

To the diehard Filipino's out there who are huge Pac fans.....does Manny come off as conceded in his own language??????
Does he like Mayweather Jr have a ME attitude????

Just out of curiousity because sometimes these things dont translate well into another language!

MAB wasnt coming off a loss, JMM wasnt coming off a loss. Morales was coming of a loss but Morales beat him anyways.

Coming off a loss dont mean shite, is Velasquez a coward since he fought Pac when Pac was coming off a loss?

This is whats so skewed about boxing these days, fighters arent allowed to loose. If they do their either shot or not worthy of a shot. Morales got a 2nd fight because he beat Pacman JUST 10 months prior...its as simple as that. Raheem was a completely different fighter from Pacman and he fought an unmotivated Morales at 135. Going into the 2nd fight the odd's were 50-50. Its very easy to act revisionist after the fight has happened but I bet you 90% of the people calling Morales shot after Pac demolished him picked Morales to beat him before the fight. The 3rd fight had to happen simply cos they were 1-1 and Pac would have gotten hell if he didnt give Morales a rematch since Morales gave him a rematch.

MAB deserves a rematch. Arum & GBP are setting up the fight, Pac would be more than happy fighting Soto or JMM. He fights anyone thrown at him. Hes never made excuses for not fighting an opponent saying their not worthy of him or not enough money. You ask him if he will fight this and that and he will say anytime, anywhere. The promoters give him a fighter, he fights them.

I see MAB as a mere tuneup to JMM anyways. Once MAB is dealt with there's only JMM, Guz, Soto & Valero on the line and they will all be lined up.

nope. nowhere close. you ask manny why he wants to win and the guy says for country. i'll probably **** my pants if pbf said anything like that. but he can get a little cocky sometimes but i think it's more of funny than really cocky. he once said that valero has an amazing record because he fought cab drivers or something like that. but generally, pac's a good guy, always thanking the fans for the support, asking for prayers, wishing well being to other filipino fighters etc

you could tell about how he acted even after beating mab, em, he still gave them their dues because both were gallant enough to give pac the chance. i like pac because he deserves all that he has now

i hope i'm not labelled as one of those nuthuggers for saying this.

No when your supposed to be one of the best fighting 5 of your last 7 fights vs a guy coming off a loss is unacceptable.
