    No mystery why Floyd's detested as a man; but carrying that over to denigrating his brilliance as one of the most masterful boxers in decades is idiotic. Ya gotta give the devil his due.

    The comparison to Tyson tho I think Tyson never denied being loony and he was as real as it gets. Floyd tho you get a sense he's not real like smoke and mirrors. Tyson faced everyone even a faded Tyson took on all comers. We have a hard time getting a prime Floyd to get us the fights he'd be favored to win take the damn fight. Tyson was always loved never remember him being hated other then probably feminists and for good reason.

    At the end of the day who hates a guy that is not relevant...His cocky arrogant persona, and also has a short temper is what's used to sell shows like 24/7.. Problem being the public buys into it which in turn makes Floyd more money.

    There are plenty of assholes in sports but we only care about the top guys and it bugs critics that he is so hated but has not yet been beaten which they are dying to see....

    You guys see him yelling at his crackhead dad and run to the computer to rant the next hour about yet another villian moment from Floyd.. To have a hatred for any fighter means that the person has bought into it like Wrestling.

    He already answered your question. Because Floyd is the present scum. Tyson was the past. If ESB was around back then you'd have Brits talking **** about him and how Lennox Lewis would **** his ass one day. Wait a minute... it did happen!
