Does Haye not constantly moan about how bad the terms are from K2 as well as the rematch clauses? Then why doesn't he just beat Stiverne then and become mandatory challenger which means he gets a 30% split as well as no rematch options. What possible reason would Haye and his fanboys have for not accepting this then? Could it possibly be that Haye is in fact not this mythical head to head beast and instead is terrified of the Stunning Stiverne? Hmmmmmmm, I know what I believe anyway.
actually, Stiverne has very good pop in his fists, his handspeed isn't all that bad either of course, if Haye came to fight, then chances of landing a punch are much higher than if he comes into the ring to run out a boring UD/SD/MD decision by throwing 6 punches a round
Haye fans know Stiverne has a good chance of knocking out Haye, so they act like he's a nobody. Either that, or they just don't know anybody outside of Vitali, Wladimir, Fury, Del Boy, etc. They're like the *******s of HW boxing...:-(
This statistical thread is quite telling in regards to the situation. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=423986 :deal
Stiverne is a top 20 fighter AT BEST. I reckon Chisora would beat him, and we all saw what Haye did to Chisora. Where are you getting the idea that Stiverne has fast hands and good feet? Anyone looks fast when they're beating a washed up Ray Austin! When he was 29 he was getting beaten by DEMETRICE KING!!! The fact that hes been talked about in world challenger terms just shows how many people the Klitschkos have already beaten, that theres literally no one left to fight.
he's a bit like today's Corrie Sanders, fast hands, decent power, and nothing more, next to no defense, other than eating punches with his face, where did I say he has quick feet? :think I think he'd be capable of KO'ing any HW today, but because of his promoters he fights like once a year and he's not getting any ring experience he should be getting by fighting top guys
Im sure if a heavyweight ALLOWED him to hit them, then yes he may cause problems. As it is, hes too short and has literally fought NO ONE of note. Corrie Sanders went in against top guys. I dont think its possible to have a real opinion of Stiverne until he actually has a legitimate fight.
And what would be wrong with saying Chisora? Valuev is far better than anyone Stiverne has beaten, even Ruiz would at worst be on a par with that version of Austin..maybe better. Everyone was hyping him up after he "beat" Helenius and went 12 hard rounds with Vitali. Im also guessing Im not allowed to mention his fights at cruiserweight because they somehow dont count? He beat Mormeck at Mormecks division in Mormecks home town for a world title. Unlike Wlad who fought him nearly 5 years later when Mormeck was 40 and fighting at a division he had no right to be in.
Exactly lol i know who he is but there isn't any interest in that fight. Even if he does win against Arreola, i think Haye would find a way to trick the WBC straight into a shot against Vitali anyway, rather than have to do it the hard way like everyone else does. That's how boxing is these days.
So you're OK with a guy who has one ranked win skipping over people who earned their mandatory position?:huh
Solis' best win is Austin, and everyone thought he gave Vitali a fight. Why is Stiverne's kayo win overlooked? :-(
