I think anyone who is objective would agree that Margo loses 80% of his advantages at 154. All you need then is someone who has some type of advantage over him and it becomes increasingly more difficult for him to just "walk through" punches.

He did that **** to Cotto and Williams at 147. But he would be in deep **** trying that with a good solid 154 puncher. It ain't gonna happen like that and his people know it.

On top of that, the money just ain't as good.

And we all know how Bob "The Puppetmaster" feels about money over good fights...

Ther eis no way in hell Karmazin beats him handily,he is past his prime and old and got sparked by an inconsistent Bunema.

I don't see how Dzinziruk beats Margarito. Margarito would be too much pressure for him. He doesn't have the punch output to slow Margarito down.

As for Karmazin, I don't think so. He's good, but he is not at Margarito's level anymore. His peak was against Kassim Ouma, but then lost to Cory Spinks a couple fights later, and who can forget his disaster against Bunema.

Margarito would be all over him.

The Karmazin vs. Ouma wouldve been a great war with Marg.

Have you seen the Santos fight? Santos is champion right now.

When Margarito fought Santos in the rematch he fought a Light MW that weighed in fight night 170 pounds! And he still manged to nearly knock him out in round 5, beat him from pillar to post in rounds 5, 7, and 8, KD Santos in round 4.

I had the fight 6-3 for Margarito.

Why doesn't Margarito move up? Because his money fights are still at 147.

    Shane Mosley
    Miguel Cotto
    Zab Judah

Perhaps after making money off those, he can start clearing the 154 division.
