I agree, but one things for sure the media's not going to let it die, so to protect his accomplishments from being tarnised he needs to take the test and then kick floyds ass.
I understand what you are saying and it is true that celebrities and sports figures are inadvertently role models. Kids look up to them. I dont see anything wrong with idolizing someone by what they do, (as mentioned by your first sentence) but when people bring up outside things and play the he should be role model card, I don't agree with. (and that's my personal opinion) what I'm saying is that because they are humans too, who **** up as well, as a parent, I don't/won't DEPEND on anyone being a role model for my child other than myself and his mother. There is a great chance that that celebrity will disappoint. As the role model for my child, I go out of my way to make sure I don't do anything to disappoint and that is the only person I care about being a role model for. Hope that clears up what I'm saying. If not....
Parody of a person of public interest is protected. Manny would have no case. It's the same reason comedians don't get sued for calling a multitude of celebrities crack whores.
There's a huge difference between Floyd.... a peer and fellow professional boxer vs some comedian doing a skit. You've heard of there being a "platform" or a "right time and place" for things.. Plus....that **** was hysterical..... Floyd is never funny. but he does try.
