This name and these two words don't belong in the same sentence, paragraph or ring. Since when does Margo has a solid defense? Clottey was hitting him at will in their fight. You should share the good stuff with the rest of us...:rasta

Floyd has to realize that taking risk is part of the game. shane took a lot of risk himself. and he paid for it. he gave the well-avoided forrest and wright their respective shots at him when no one would.

if floyd only gave us more quality fights. it doesn't have to be everytime, say every two or three fights he takes on the likes of margo, cotto etc. but no, like roy jones before him. what's important is that they are happy, not the fans. and they wonder why they bombed compared to pac's ticket sales.

I wasn't refering to Margartio when I mentioned fighters with solid defense. Margarito is one of the bigger, stronger fighters that I refered to. And it's BigReg not Big Red

Yes... that's what everyone has always said about Cotto. Everytime he's going to fight a boxer: "He'll have problems with his opponents superior boxing skills", "He'll have a hard time trying to get to a slick south paw like ______", "He'll have to blah this, and blah that, in order to win this fight"... Guess what BigReg, he's beat them all. Boxers, punchers, technical fighters, taller, bigger, more reach. He finds a way to win. Some times a fighters WILL TO WIN does make the difference when only two men are between those 4 sets of ropes... Margo has a too much of a big target in that long rib cage of his for Cotto not to land consistiently and beating him down. I do think that Mosely is a greater challenge for Cotto than Margo will ever be. Mosely and PBF will be the Milestones for Cotto to reach P4P and ATG level... If he beats at least one of them, he'll deserve to be elevated to that status.
Margo would be another "imploded" victime in Cotto's KO column...:hey

I thought Shane went AWAY from power boxing? Besides, it's Shane's combos that will cause PBF problems along with his speed. Not his power boxing.

I repeat, if he wanted to fight for the REAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Not some belt that calls him a champion, but the REAL, LINEAR CHAMPIONSHIP.

It's this simple man. Either get rid of all the titles and don't care about them, or don't be upset when a fighter goes after the title, no matter who holds it.

We cannot have it both ways. You know how many times PBF gets blasted for not being the REAL champion at 140? If he wanted the 147 title, he would have to fight Baldomir or Gatti depending on who won.

    Fans are getting too picky.
