Why doesn't Ward go up 7 lbs. and fight Stevenson and Kovalev? Ward wants to fight welterweights, Jr. Middleweights, and middleweights. Golovkin is making his name at 160 which is his weight division. I don't hear anyone complaining about Marvin Hagler fighting at 160, or Hopkins who fought at 160 for many years, not to mention so many other middleweights. Hey, tell Ward to fight Vladimir Klitschko..............

I like GGG, but, he is being overhyped. Ward @ 168 is just too strong and too talented. GGG should stay at 160, get wins over Martinez, Quillin, etc., then wait for the 154 lb stars to move up.

Matthew Macklin is a real MW.
Grzegorz Proksa was #10 on GBP's Ring Magazine MW list.
Curtis Stevens is a MW who has fought @SMW and LHW.

Dmitry Pirog was going to be stripped of his WBO title as soon as he stepped in the ring to fight GGG. Is it GGG's fault that Pirog has a herniated disc? Both were willing to make the fight.
Peter Quillin declined a fight with GGG before the HBO/GBP beef and before Quillin had the WBO belt. Golovkin fought Makoto Fuchigami.(May 12, 2012)
Felix Sturm ducked GGG for 2 years.
Daniel Geale dropped the WBA belt to fight Mundine, instead of the WBA mandatory(GGG)
Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam dropped the WBA Interim belt and skipped out on purse bids to avoid GGG(twice!)
Eddie Hearn isn't putting Darren Barker in with GGG for less than Mayweather money.
Martin Murray is going to need 10 tune up fights before he's ready, apparently.

Who else do you want to know about?
Do you not follow boxing above 152lbs?:hey

No even close anybody who knows boxing will pick Ward over GGG "too much junk in his trunk" plus he's a natural bigger fighter UD Ward.

Very good points made above, thanks for the logic..................and simply the truth................Golovkin had 350 amateur fights................................only lost 5.................................who can say that? Golovkin is an exciting fighter I can't wait to see his next fight.
