Yeap , but word on the streets here is that Cotto don't even prepare very well for fights like this , he just go up there to do the job but doesnt take it seriously, i doubt this since i think his very serious and professional with his "job" boxing

I disagree, Gomez is still an up and comer and thats about it. Hasn't proved much. And Cotto hasn't done much himself. He's hasn't truly fought anyone too threatening. Mosley is his biggest win and he struggled against him. Torres was the 2nd biggest threat and Torres took that on short notice.

    Did I say it wasn't?

And if Judah is his 2nd best win. That shows how much of a resume Cotto has.

Judah was coming off a year of inactivity and had not won in two years. I guess its a bigger win because Judah is the bigger name. Torres was the bigger threat because he nearly took out Cottos head and he took the fight on short notice. On top of that. Cotto was struggling with weight. Making Torres the bigger threat. Judah was the bigger win because of his name.

Cotto is only 27 years old. I would say that wins over Maussa, Sosa, N'Dou, Pinto (undefeated then), Bailey, Corley, Malignaggi (undefeated), Quintana (undefeated), Urkal, Judah, and Mosley is pretty impressive. Especially when considering that Cotto is still undefeated, had 6 successful title defenses at 140, and already has 3 successful title defenses at 147.

    Your confusing issues now.

You wrote your first post as a means of discrediting his level of competition.

Now your changing the criteria to "the fighters who gave him his hardest fight".

Eh, the names are okay, but nothing huge.

Pinto was up and coming and has gone on to retire since then. Nothing special.

Malignaggi if he had power might of had something going, too bad hes feather fisted. Quitana. Eh again I dont see anything special in him, unless he beats Williams. Urkal slow and old, and laned over 55% of his power shots on Cotto. Judah a big name win, coming off a year of inactivity and had not won in two years. And Cotto had to cheat to stop Judah. Mosley was Cotto's best win, but Mosley was 36 years and 2 months old.

    What?

Cotto's biggest win is Mosley. Followed by Judah.

Does that make Judah the 2nd biggest threat he's faced? No. It might of been had Cotto not cheated.

Eze more and more I think your completely full of ****. I have cut you slack until now even though other posters dog you all the time.

You clearly have an agenda. You can do this with every fighters resume and if you know boxing you know that.

    Hatton: Blown up 140lb fighter
    DLH: old, inactive
    Mitchell: old, 140lb fighter
Judah: coming of loss to Baldomir

    etc...

Hatton fight - Think of it as a Jr WW fight that took place for the WW title.
    DLH.. old and inactive
Mitchell. Old and warm up fight at 147 like Cotto for Quitana
Judah was coming off a loss yup.

Eze here was your intial statement: Are you talking about his level or competition or who gave him his toughest fights? Because to me it sure seems you are mixing the two to suit your agenda, and highlighted in white is my reasoning.
