Why has Hopkins not signed with Al HAYMON?

Maybe Hopkins knows something the rest of us don't.:think

Nah. Hopkins has no need of a manager really - the Old Guy is a partner in a major promotion and knows everyone in the business. I very much doubt there's much Al could do for BHops at this stage.

Hell, anyway, look at the recent situation with the Hopkins / Stevenson / Kovalev fights where Haymon tried to stall negotiations to take advantage of BHops impending mando requuirement. The Kovalev fight actually happened because Hopkins outmaneuvered Haymon ffs!

He does not need that type of guidance. He can really get any fight he wants (w/in reason) at this point.

Maybe because he wants to keep most of the money he makes and not give 10-20 % to a manager. Perhaps he's seen the contract that, in essence, says you work for Al Haymon, not the other way around.

Also, if he signed with Haymon he would not have the options to work with HBO and get the best fights like the Kovalev bout.

Surprised nobody mentioned it but its because of his partnership/friendship with Oscar and he is being taken good care of, I doubt haymon would do better.

Cause he don't need a security service to avoid the best fighters out there. The guy has huge balls.

Hernandez, a middling 'contender', got a shot at a Welterweight title on fuggin' HBO. His own promoter was grateful for the opportunity LINK:

He got knocked out in the 1st round, and has since gone on to lose 6 of his next 7 fights. Why don't you explain to us his 'mistreatment'?

Is haymon a convicted briber & 2 time killer & purse robber like arum & king? Who, paid terry norris 7 million dollars again? Who, was exposed by visionquest again? Why, was he begging haymon guy for a fight again?

Haymon doesn't want him. Bhop said he would be interested but Al hasn't asked. It's that simple.

Those guys are promoters. You're talking about Haymon like he's a promoter and that's wrong from the jump, because legally he isn't allowed to be and that's the problem.
