Why hasn't Fury vs. Usyk been announced yet?

Tyson Fury is a clown who appeals to people who watch less than 5 fights a year. This is factual in AD2023. We're not living in late 2018 or early 2020 now

Reading between the lines I think it's obvious he wants to be paid more than AJ was for either Ruiz2 or Usyk2 - whichever netted him more. However the Saudis aren't willing to do this as AJ fitted into what they want better. Maybe it's because he's more presentable or what. I don't know. I don't think it's because he's black, but I've always felt they greatly preferred him to Fury. I don't think they give a toss about undisputed and certainly aren't going to drastically overpay for it

So the fight will be moved to Wembley and Fury will demand 60-40 or even less - which I can see Usyk possibly accepting. However this will also drag on

I've heard rumours Frank is trying to set Fury-Joyce up for the summer after the Usyk fight. Doesn't that sound suspiciously like a ''err sorry guys the Usyk fight fell through, b-but we've got Fury-Joyce to enjoy in a few months!''

Personally I'd rather Usyk retire 20-0 and recite war-related reasons. If he's lucky his AJ wins might age a bit better. As for Fury, he's sadly in a bad spot surrounded by bum-kissers nowadays, so I reckon he'll end up like Tyson or RJJ by his mid-late 30s, struggling to call it a day

 

I sure hope they fight, It'll really put a definite stamp on who the greatest HW of this era is.

Usyk is my main man, I love the guy. I would like nothing more than to see him win, to be considered the best of his time & to bring respect back to the HW championship of the world.

How is that any indication for the fight to happen? This article only briefly mentions the Usyk-Fury bout when it talks about how Joyce and Fury would be fighting in the summer. If anything, I think it’s an indication for the fight not to happen. Fury likes to fight once in every 6-8 months, no more frequently than that. If he were to fight Usyk in April, there’s no way he would be fighting any sooner than late 2023 - if he would be to fight this year again at all.

 

You know Fury wins this. Why you want to embarrass yourself ?

 

It’s rare that I’m this convinced about the outcome of a fight, so it’s all the more annoying that Fury ducks him. Don’t project your insecurities on me, mate. Usyk is Fury’s worst nightmare and everything he says or does just confirms this. He hasn’t signed, he is silent on social media, and even if he says something, it’s about Ngannou. He is getting out of this fight because Usyk would end his career by schooling him badly and making him look like Bambi on ice.

 

I like Fury but I think your assessment is spot on.

 

They try to sell us the narrative that Fury is scared and when the fight will be signed they gonna explode and predict Usyk by KO.

I won't pay nor watch this. I will watch the highlights of Fury demolishing him that's all.

Sigh.... Another day without an announcement.... This is just highlighting what is wrong with boxing.... And as much as promoters are to blame so are the purse demands by boxers TBH.... It is becoming hard to run a profit.... And when you have to involve Saudi's to make money you are on a slippery slope.....

At least youtubers are willing to fight each other....Watching these clowns might be our only option one of these days.....
