Why haven't we seen an all time great southpaw heavyweight?

Yup. He has had only a handful of heavyweight fights but unifying the titles, and beating Joshua, Fury and Dubois x 2 each is enough for a top 15 all time hw spot. I don't think he is top 5 or anything as some people do but he has done well enough for a top 15 spot and maybe bottom half of top 10.

Balboa doesn't get nearly enough credit for that Drago victory. I mean, sure, Drago was only an amateur, but he literally killed former HW Champion Apollo Creed (in an exhibition bout, no less). Not only did Rocky come from behind to win with a 15th round KO after absorbing about 700 or so flush power shots to the head from a dude with a 2,150 punch psi, he did so in Soviet Russian, on Christmas Day, for no money. Reminiscent of his come from behind victory in the Creed rematch, where both warriors went down simultaneously in the waning seconds of the 15th round, with Rocky getting up at the count of 9.5 to win the title. What an absolute beast that guy was.

At that point in the franchise, why not just have Rocky enter an experimental time machine which takes him back to the 1880s so he could have a donnybrook with John L?

I would watch that movie. There are all kinds of woke possibilities.

After beating Sullivan, he strikes a blow for civil rights by giving Peter Jackson a shot. After thrashing him within an inch of his life, he stands before a mixed-race crowd that includes some Mexicans and an eskimo and declares, "and if I can change....and you can change....maybe we all can change!" The trannies think he is talking about them and turn him into a drag queen.

Don't be surprised if some producer takes the script you laid out and runs with it. Maybe you should screenshot your post and file it away in case you ever are in position to seek royalties...

It's a matter of public record, now, my friend.

He did. He also did it in the Clubber Lang rematch, and he did so while displaying blazing hand speed.

Remember, Balboa had a record of something like 44-28 in the first film and was an absolute sloth of a human being. Then, 10+ fights later, he goes from being about as fast as Joe Joyce to maybe equaling Ali's hand speed from the Williams fight. Creed came in and basically altered Rock's DNA in a matter of a few months. Plus, he learned late career how to effectively fight out of either stance, so much so that he actually put Marvin Hagler to shame. Pretty impressive if you ask me.
