Ha, yeah I knew after I posted it, there would be some backlash, but there has been some good feedback (positive or not)
How many times can we rehash the same thing? Send this stuff to gayweather's Facebook and hopefully the chicken **** would finally find the courage to face the real hungry lion, not one invented to suddenly be a dragonslayer
Good post.. I see exactly what you are saying and I actually felt the same way before seeing a side of Floyd I never thought I'd ever see. Confidence is something Floyd needs to be the fighter he is. Pac brings out hesitation and a lack of confidence in Floyd which will ultimately create major problems if he were to step up. The fact that everything pac is as a fighter is everything that causes Floyd problems makes this situation the whole long and drawn out process. It's a toss up fight but I see doubt in Floyd which leads me to lean towards a Pac win.
Pac will have Floyd's face pizzarized. He will wear shades after the fight as is the case with Margarito.
Ok definitely good point. But this is part of the reason I feel the way I do. I think his fear of lossing along with his ego, fuel his drive to get the victory. Hopefully they get it on next year. Anything after next year is a done deal as far as the hype. Even though the hype has slightly declined since last year, a fight next year woul still set records
I've been saying for the past couple of years that Pac & Mayweather will be eachother's hardest/most difficult opponent....the skill level in the ring will be something that we won't see for years to come...I just always felt that at both of their VERY BEST, mayweather will come out on top... we will definitely see the BEST pacquiao as well because floyd will bring it out of him... floyd's face will get cut and damaged but he will be the victor in this epic battle... :deal :good
So the premise of this thread is that Floyd has yet to show us his best performance. Many of his fans here already say Floyd is the most complete boxer today. From my observation, I haven't seen much of anything new from Floyd from his last few fights. Being a "complete fighter" that Floyd is, is there that much more room for improvement? On the other hand, Pac is a fighter that has shown fans something new in his last few fights being that he was once considered more of a brawler and lacking fundamental boxing skills. Being a supestar like Floyd, Pac can also be capable of putting on a Superman cape, showing something new like he has in his last few fights. Pac has alot more room for improvement than Floyd at this point. So IMO, between the 2 fighters, it is Pac who is likely to show something new if and when the 2 ever decide to fight each other.
well I read it, probably someone answered you the same manner as me if so that you will get the same answer multiplied Exactly the same, that you wrote about Floyds special ability as an athlete etc etc can be told about Pacman as great talented very gifted athlete just as Floyd is. This is the same level of greatness and ability to ascend to the heights of skill during tougher challenges So we've got things even. And now what will be yours recipe for Floyd??? Try harder:good
you don't think Floyd should us anything new vs Ortiz? And it's not really about showing anything new, it's about doing what you already do, but to it's fullest
If Pac wanted to fight Floyd then he would of agreed to the terms the first time around, but yet here we are and Pocahontas, I mean Pacquiao have still not agreed to the terms.
Floyd is on another level to Manny in regards to boxing ability. Manny has improved over the years, Floyd has always been one of the most naturally talented boxers of all time. He's always been good, hasnt improved his jab, hasnt improved his right hand, hasnt improved his defence, hasnt improved his footwork, he's always been naturally super-gifted in every department. Floyd either later TKO or UD.
Floyd probably wins because he has style+reach/size. Incidentally, Pac's size is why I wouldn't downrate Pac even if he lost to Floyd, simply because it's amazing enough that as small as he is, he's the only fighter 147 and below who has a significant shot at beating him.
