Margarito fights with his heart and soul,he is exciting ,he gets beat he doesn,t take a year off its straight back to work. The guy is a true tough guy! What gives with you people?

Because he encompasses aspects of the sweet science which are overrated. Sure hes tough and has heart. But so do a lot of fighters. He doesnt have the true skill though which is what I admire (Mayweather, Jones, Toney, Williams). Boxing isnt about proving how tough you are its about being smart and using your skills and physical tools. Aside from his lack of true skills I still think hes a p4p fighter its just if I were a boxer I would not want to emulate his way of doing things
I don't get it either. He is a true throwback fighter. No padded record. No handouts. He finally made it big and decides to take a fight to increase his markeatability and people hate him for it. Then they say PW is the top WW when he has only beat 1 top WW in Margarito. Other than that he has opted to fight at higher weight classes which people think is great but look at the competition he has faced at those weights. Any top 5 WW would have won those fights too. Don't get me wrong I want the PW fight to happen but now PW has to wait his turn. He turned down the immediate rematch with Margo now Margo can do the same and soon enough Margo will take care of him.
Paul is the rightful number 2 WW in the world. Paul has opted to fight at other weights, because 1 he can, 2 Arum refuses to let him fight his fighters.
Maybe because of all his whining after the Williams fight then not fighting a rematch for 4 million. Maybe because he has the most delusional fans of any fighter? His terrible lack of skill?
I met Margo out in LA before the Williams fight and he was mad cool. I had heard of him before, and heard how much of a warrior he was. Right after the fight, in the pres conference, I couldn't believe the bull**** he was saying. He whined like a ***** about being robbed and accused Goosen of fixing the fight. I was extremely disappointed in him and lost a lot of respect for him. He later recanted, but then you have some of his fans who still act as if the fight and defeat never happened. Then you have Bob Arum getting up in the Shane press conference saying that This content is protected You might say it was a Freudian slip kind of wishful thinking, but it was the ultimate deliberate act of disrespect. But the real reason why I talk so much **** is because his rabid fans will claim in one breath that PW is a ****in overrated bum who needs to be exposed because he is nothing, and turn around and say Margarito is a Superman, throwback, iron-chinned, warrior who is "The Man" at 147. This content is protected I still don't hate him, but some of his fans make it difficult....
only people who bang on him constantly are the joy boys, who for some reason, have suddenly started to jock ride paul williams.
