Why is Canelo not getting more criticism for fighting Yildrim?

How is Charlo proven again? He had a tough fight with Dery and STRUGGLED with old man Korobov who prior to that fight had been inactive for 2 years, unless you wanna count a fight against a bum even worse than Yildirim is. Didn't even give him a rematch. What makes him "proven" ? His skin color? His cool hair ?
