He's rated as he should be - a top ten WW who will likely never be a top three WW. Amazing power - poor stamina and focus.

I don't see how he's so "overrated" either. He lost to Margo twice, but then again who ever beats Margo???? Or who has ever tried to get back in there with the most feared man in boxing??? He gets props alone for that...

(And surely no one in the world would do BOTH)

What are some of Cintron's big wins? What does he do well besides hit hard?

Cintron isn't overrated. Nobody rated him after the 1st Margo fight, people gave him respect for wanting to get back in the ring with Tony, and everyone can see he's a dangerous puncher.

    Who exactly is overrating him?

Cintron is not over rated he was just dealt with by the Margs before anyone else.

I give Cintron props for taking the rematch and picking Margs to beat Cotto because he knew the truth

Before you call him over rated let him fight other good comp

Defo not overrated, But I would say pushed aside as a threat.
IMO, he would be a legit challenge to any of the Champ's 147-154.

He has one of the better Boxing coaches in Manny Steward
And he has that punching power, Great combination on paper.
His HT is an assest as is his warrior mentality.
No one has claimed him to be a "Willie Pep" he's negative that stature...
But he is a former world champion who has beat all his opponent's except 1.
(Call his victories flukes or over bum's, but they are pro's none the less)

There was a little to no difference in the first fight and the second fight imo, pre manny and post manny. Manny is a hell of a trainer but thats just a testament to Cintron's lack of boxing skills...

Warrior mentality??? He basically quit in his first fight with Margo when he saw his power couldn't hurt him and he couldn't avoid his punches.

I know exactly what I'm talking about. Thanks for answering the question. Since we are giving out all of these "props" to Cintron for simply getting in the ring with Margarito, then someone out there deserves even more for actually beating him and trying to do the **** AGAIN...

Both Cintron & Manny came into The II Margarito fight with bad game plan's..
They came in with bad intensions and revenge in their eyes and thought they could go in there and blast him out, They were wrong. (Steward changed the plan way too late, Cintron was going down)

I say warrior metality, because who ask's for a second fight with Margarito after suffering that crushing of a defeat?

Kermit was broken down by Margarito, period.
But besides Tony, who else can do that to him?
I think as a former champion he deserves that right to find out.

    In theroy...
But he deserves a chance to find out.

At least 3 of those fighter's have been rocked by shot's before
by lesser puncher's P4P than Cintron.

He had a fight with Williams all lined up. He decided to take an ill advised tune up first and got "injured". He had a fight with Mosley lined up. Both parties had agreed in prinicpal to a deal. Cintron backed out because he didn't like the money he was getting. Cintron doesn't deserve a shot at any of the champs right now. He'll have to earn that right.
