    I agree with you..
But **** has changed, Cintron don't have anything to lose now.
Where as when those fight's were being propossed it could have cost him his championship..
(which at the time was his only barganing chip, They defo made a bad mistake)

I can't blame him for the fight's falling thru or getting injured, Most fighter's don't have 100% control over the politic's of this fight game. Cintron don't have that type of clout.

Cintron is 100% to blame for the Williams fight not happening. He was supposed to fight Feliciano in Sept. as a stay busy fight. After that card got scrapped, he landed the Williams fight. Despite this, he decided he was going to fight Feliciano anyway in Nov. He was told that wasn't a good idea and he did it anyway. He ****ed himself with that one. He ****ed himself again by fighting a guy he couldn't beat. Then again, had he not fought Margo he would've had to have fought Clottey. That would almost assuredly have been a loss for Cintron.

He's not even rated highly on these boards. No one claims he's the best anything either. What overrating are you talking about? :huh

He's still a top 5 WW, which is where people see him.

    Nah... He ain't top 5

    Williams
    Margarito
    Clottey
    Shane
    Cotto

All should clearly be ranked above him.

Berto has a strong argument also.

Quintana and Berto should be above him

All cintron did was knock out nobodies ( David Estrada included) and lose to a great fighter twice. Quintana beat arguably the best WW.

He was always just a fringer contender. His best win is over Mark Suarez (?).

And you're right. Quintana deserves mention. Cintron really hasn't beaten anyone worth a damn. So yeah, Cintron DEFINITELY isn't Top 5, and DEFINITELY had no business ranked ahead of Clottey in that one thread! :-(

I missed it before you brough it to everyone's attention!

I don't recall him ever being overrated. If anything he should be commended for getting in the ring again with a guy who took him apart and gave him his only loss.

He was the IBF champion. I'm not about to give the guy credit for getting in the ring with another guy in his divison, especially when he's supposed to be on of the division's best fighters. Cintron was the one mouthing off on T.V, talking about how he was a different fighter and how the Margo loss should be erased. Too bad his mouth wrote a check his ass couldn't cash.
