I was at the press conference and this Clottey guy is acting more like a lover than a fighter. For him to beat Cotto, he needs to get in his head but he ain't doing any of that. To beat Cotto, you need to get in his head.Instead of saying how great of a champ he is and how he is gonna ko Cotto, he is acting like he is an undeserving challenger fighting for the belt. With such an attitude, I'm afraid he lost the fight before it even started. Is he star struck by Cotto or what?

Well, didnt' Clottey say he will KO Cotto?

If Cotto runs he will chase him down and KO him.

If he stands and fights he will KO him.

    Cotto cannot tek his punches????

He has done some trash talking....I think the staredown a while back
    got to him.

Clottey knows now he is in for a serious ass thrashing and he in his own way is simply asking for some mercy!!!!!

Well he has to say something to promote the fight a bit. Nothing way out of the ordinary.

    Cotto UD.

I don't think it is just culture. Didn't Sam Peter do lots of trash talking leading up to the Vitali fight? Ike Ibeaubuchi also used to get into his opponents's head. But this guy seems too soft in that department. He reminds me of that japanese fighter who apologized to Felix Sturm for saying that he will ko him.

Maybe he's just focusing on the task at hand at the moment. A few more days and its on. I can't wait. This is almost a make or break for both fighters.

Clottey in the outside looking in. Cotto trying to reclaim the spot he once held. I expect some explosions.

Maybe it is just his nature....that quiet killer inside of him....
Kind of makes sense when you watch Clottey's fights...he has a real killer
    instinct.

Wait, am I confusing him with someone else?

Oh the tragedy, fighters showing other fighters some respect. How will the sport of boxing continue to gather fans with sportsmanlike attitude between fighters? Seriously though there is nothing wrong with showing respect. What exactly is the thread starter complaining about I don't know
