When did he make the ice rink comment about Lara?

With regards to the Lara fight, there's a hint of avoidance there from GGG's side but I think Lara should move up for it. GGG is the bigger draw and Lara is a huge JMW.

That was just exaggeration but his manager claimed that Lara was a non draw.

Lara said he would go up to 60.

Will Lara fight GGG at 160? Because moving down to 154 to fight him is pretty meh. If so, yes, that fight should happen asap. Maybe Monroe is the warmup for Lara?

Yes, Lara said he would move up to 60, he's stated this since his challenge to GGG a year back. :deal

The fact is NO one at from 154 to 168 would have a chance with GGG

Ahh, gotcha. I didn't think it sounded like something he'd say.

It's tough to get a legitimate read on these things, but if Lara is truly ready and willing to fight him at 160 then GGG has to make the fight.

If Andre Ward can get back to 168 he would UD GGG comfortably.

There were no official offers that were made.

Lara's manager and himself talked about making the fight and made a challenge to GGG only for it to be shot down a week later by GGG's manager claiming that Lara brought 0 fans, was a high risk low reward fight.

    Then afterwards, everything died down.

the truth is that after GGG's team responded, Lara went quiet, and has been ever since

Um yeah, they responded with, "no thanks, you bring 0 fans"

How did you want Lara to continue with it?

He just moved on. That's it.

He got himself an Alvarez fight and many think he actually won that bout.

if he wanted to fight GGG and not just promote his name, then he'd purse the fight

he wanted Canelo and actually barged in on his post fight presser, that's how badly he wanted it, he hasn't said GGG's name since Loeffer responded to his team's callout, end of tale :yep

The same can be said in the reverse.

If GGG wants a Lara fight, he would pursue it. It would certainly be a great win.

He didn't get GGG so he went for Canelo.

    The man ducks no one.

If GGG wanted him like Lara wanted him, he should have said something. Fact is: He didn't.

Lara was turned down so he went another direction. If GGG wants him now and called him out, Lara would be happy to oblige. :deal
