why is khan not fighting thurman?

    both are with showtime both with haymon?

    khan was very friendly in the studios with keith so much so keith said that he felt bad and never wanted to trash talk him because he was so nice

    Because he'd probably get knocked out and Thurman isn't well-known in the UK. Khan is just building up his stock again and the last thing he needs is a puncher like Thurman. What would beating Thurman even get him? It doesn't guarantee a fight against Mayweather who will pick who he likes and the other alternative in Brook will happen down the line anyway.

    Keith thurman is a very dangerous fight you see, possibly the most dangerous fight out there. If khan takes a thurman fight then its a big risk cus a loss will take him out of the mayweather sweap states.

    on the other hand if he beats gim people will say thruman was overhyped anyway... he didn't beat anyone either

    so it's one of those high risk low reward type of fights
