What on Earth are you talking about? Matthew Hatton's last fight was the biggest of his career and took place in a 1300 capacity sports hall! 400k PPV?! Lol!

If your 'theory' is correct why wasn't Miguel Cotto v Michael Jennings on PPV in the UK? How many people 'crossed continents' for that one?

It better draw in England as it won't draw flies in the States.I guess HBO would show this cause this would be a PPV flop.I can't believe Floyd would take this fight seriously though and it's probably just bull****.

first off its rumors, nobody from Team Mayweather or Golden Boy has mentioned Hatton. Secondly, its an easy payday especially if he's wanting to fight the winner of Berto-Mosley in June or July. And it allows him to fight in England.

Mayweather needs to depend on his opponents fan base for ppv buys

Honestly it makes sense to me....Pac doesnt want to sign the contract he has to find another oppenent for the 13th of March, although team pac has made statements about trying it for a september date, well thats what i read anyway. Now if he takes the fight with the younger hatton in the UK i think the numbers will be big because i dont think the floyd has to many fans over there and they would love to see him lose.

if floyd wants this fight thinkin that Matthew Hatton will sell PPV's in this country then hes got another thing coming. There aren't that many people over here that have even heard of Matthew Hatton.

Anyone who doesn't have knowledge of the UK boxing scene needs to stop making comments.

Its true that most people don't even know Ricky has a brother who boxes. Even those who know about him probably dont know his opponents or his record.

This fight is NEVER going to happen as it will make no money. More people in the UK would watch because Floyd is fighting not because of Matthew.

p.s. Floyd does have a big following in the UK because his talent is recognised by anyone with eyes. And while it wasn't just college kids who attended his wrokout in London, I wasn't aware that you had to be a certain age or have a particluar job to have a valid opinion on a good boxer.

yea i totally agree.... i was thinking the only way for Floyd to make any real money on this fight would be to have it at Wembley. Otherwise he's gonna get very little for this one.

Very good post , Hatton Im afraid doesnt deserve his record and certainly doesnt carry a following , but come Aug - Sept Mosley will be on the seen , and will clean up.
