Why is Parker such a heavy favourite over Wardley?

This is an excellent thread with lots of good points regarding the current overrating of Parker, which is one of the most amusing things in boxing at present.

Anyone know what weight Parker is coming in at? He looks a bit leaner than last time out.

Parker is more proven, more experienced and has better wins and in my opinion has underrated Power, I watched some of his recent videos and he looks pretty huge, he's probably going for a knockout...

Parker could actually be the hardest puncher that Wardley has fought

With the way Parker keeps talking about that he can't wait to eat after the fight, in guessing that they are taking some weight off him and he will come in a bit lighter.

I just don't get the Parker hate. To me, he has worked himself to be right below Fury and Joshua, and, with more time on the clock, could easily surpass either. If he somehow managed to beat Usyk...and I admit I heavily favor Usyk...but if he did he would leapfrog there. If not, he still has enough time on the clock to picl himself up and make another attempt.

    Why the hate?

I think part of it is because he has been historically disappointing, the feeling was there that he could have been better but didn't take that extra step and let people down.

Plus he has a "boring" style where he fought as a 12 round fighter, though I think he is mixing that up now.

And also, some people don't like a champion heavyweight boxer with his personality, they don't like the song callouts, the skits or the humbleness and appreciation for his team and family. They can't reconcile that with their view of masculinity and fighters and think it must be fake and an act.
