Why is Paul Smiths fight getting no attention???

    Paul Smith is awful to watch. He's just not very good at anything, apart from being able to take a punch.

    I think as his career progressed, his style regressed somewhat, and his effective aggression became more ineffective and less in volume. You can see when he is in there sometimes he thinks an awful lot about what he is doing, which in one sense isnt a bad thing, but more often than not it means he is on the back foot, being beaten to the punch and looking pressured. The decline coincides with being trained by the vaughn's and by buddy mcgirt. Mcgirt tried to change smith into a boxer rather than let him be an effective fighter and I think he has felt those effects ever since.
    However, I think it is fair to reserve judgement until he's had a few fights with Gallagher.
    I'm still following him because he has been exciting in the past, and at middle has proved that he has sufficient power to turn a fight on it's head very quickly.
    At smw he may have only got to British level, but I'm sure with the right coaching he can take it further to at least euro class

    Because he has been sh!t for years! Dodson & Quigley fight's were 2 of the worst iv ever witnessed, as for Degale he done well to stay in with him that long, anyway just cause he has a good intro song doesnt mean people will watch him.I like the song but would rather just listen to Deacon Blue on my ipod than watch him.

    "Real Gone Kid" is a class tune gives me chills down my spine everytime i hear it just reminds me of the big nights at the Echo great atmosphere for Paul Smiths fights.

    Absolutely mate. The quigley fight might not have been great and it could have gone either way, but I don't think anyone can argue smith did win the Dodson fight clearly. Even Tony would concede that I'm sure.
    He won't get on the broadcast, but I'm sure there will be highlights.
    Real gone kid is a class tune to gone out to, the piano intro is wicked. Pissed me off at the Dodson fight they missed it out
