The word says, " there is a way that seems right to man, but it's end leads to destruction and death ", and from all things, " guard your heart as from it comes all life ".

First of all, you can be 100% assured that God is against any type of violence, including boxing. It's people who make the decisions to go and get involved into all kind of activities, He gave mankind freewill but 99.99% of the times people end up not doing what God intended for them in the first place. ( This includes Holyfield ).

This is why people get involved in all crazy things, activities, ridiculous hobbies, dangerous sports, dangerous activities etc and the sad thing is that they spent their whole lives without trying to see if what they are doing is actually God's will.

God is Mercy/Love/Consuming Fire, the world's floods, earthquakes, illnesses, wars and all catastrophes are the result of SIN. As long as humankind keeps away from God " doing their thing " and keep apart from God's heart, all those disasters will not go away but multiply, but if people repent, look for God and do His will, He will certainly heal our Earth.

The easiest thing is to critize God and blame Him for everything when in reality He is perfect, Loving and Merciful, but people need to look themselves in the mirror ( which is the Word of God ) and they will see just how dirty they are...
