He should have faced nr. 1 ranked Machen instead of nr. 3 ranked Harris in 1958. That's really the biggest mark on his reign.

What are you talking about? Thomas was well prepared physically for the Tyson fight. As I said Tyson unleashed 6-7 power rights and lefts to his head before he went down. Very durable fighter and looked more or less like he did three years earlier.

Obviously holyfield can't hold a candle to Tyson in terms of the level of epic knockouts. Tyson was definitely a better knockout artist and a much harder puncher than Fields was, even with his steroids on the daily.

Holyfield used steroids and likely HGH to the point where he looked in human. It's obvious he is the most doped up boxer in the history of sport. Nobody did it better, and Tyson has never been implicated in PED use, just recreational drug use. His physique didn't change at all throughout most of his career, an indicator he wasn't using PEDs.

But as champion, Patterson had his title defense opponents hand piked by Cus D Amato, Roy Cut N Shoot Harris in 1958, Pete Rademacher in 1957, Brian London in 1959, Tom Mc Neeley in 1961. Floyd ignored D Amato's advice on meeting Sonny Liston in Sept 1962 and before that Ingemar Johansson in June 1959.

    Pop quiz:

    1. Which fighter, Mike Tyson or Evander Holyfield, has a no contest on his record for failing a drug test?

    2. Which fighter, Mike Tyson or Evander Holyfield, never failed a drug test?

    3. Which fighter, Mike Tyson or Evander Holyfield, used a fake dick filled with his baby’s urine to pass drug tests?

This is what happens with Tyson fans — they fantasize about being him and doing things that landed him in prison.

he made 2 categories in Tyson's "best I've faced" list, and Rooney invited him to train with them

He's also 0-7 against opponents who Tyson beat. The end.

You know who also never failed a drug test? Hint: He won 7 tour de France titles. Stripped of them now, of course.

Is it your contention that failing a drug test for pot ONE time is worse than evanders use of steroids and HGH on a daily basis for years? If so you really are an all out fan boy with no regard for the truth

Or they enjoy epic boxing because Tyson was far more talented, powerful, accurate, entertaining and delivered knockouts far more often and with power that only Holyfield could dream of having. They would have to come out with the " Fentayl " of steroids 10 x stronger.

Read your post below this one where you slobber all over Tyson and you will see the meaning of “all out fan boy with no regard for the truth.”

Did Tyson use a fake dick to cheat drug tests? Yes he did.

Did Tyson ever have a result nullified for failing a drug test? Yes he did.

Did Holyfield ever fail a drug test? No, he didn’t.

Now what we have here is proof that: 1) Tyson admits he cheated on drug tests and 2) He failed a drug test.

We have zero proof that Holyfield used banned substances. We have 100% proof that Tyson did.

Everything I just typed is the truth. It is 100% absolutely verifiable truth. Which you have no regard for … because you’re “an all out fan boy.”

You are such an “all out fan boy with no regard for the truth” that you’ll actually believe a convicted ****** who admits to using a fake dick to cheat drug tests as if he was Baby Jesus himself.

    SMFH.

Bonds never tested positive, to add another name the list. I'm trying to get you to see its time to drop that argument, really it is. Doesnt hold water.

According to documents unearthed in the ongoing steroid-distribution probe in which Holyfield’s name (or some version of it, anyway) surfaced this week, The Real Deal turned up at his urologist’s office in September of 2004 – two months before he fought Larry Donald – to be treated for “hypogonadism"

To be fair, the documents don’t say exactly that. What they say is that somebody named “Evan Fields” was treated for hypogonadism in September, and that the malady was presumably related to the fact that in June of that same year “Evan Fields” obtained a supply of testosterone, Glukor, and injection supplies, and that three weeks later “Evan Fields” picked up five vials of Human Growth Hormone, all from the same Georgia uroligist

Evan Fields and the former heavyweight champion share more than a similarity of names. Evan ordered the drugs from an address as “794 Evander, Fairfield, Ga.,” and his birthday – Oct. 19, 1962 – is the same one BoxRec lists for Holyfield.

And when two Sports Illustrated reporters dialed the number listed on Evan Fields’ prescription, Evander Holyfield answered the telephone.

I really have no time for your shenanigans... You sound exactly like the delusional fan by that you are. You would probably follow evander off a cliff, no?

Also you keep bashing Tyson for his life outside the ring. Welcome the other hundreds of boxers now and you can instantly learn boxers tend to live gruff and ruff lifestyles. Does it make it right what Tyson did? No, but I still admire his skill in the ring. Just like I hate Larry Holmes, but j still have to admit he was a very talented boxer. So I must give credit where credit is due.

In evanders case, he has about 2 braincells left, so I'm thinking all that headbutting and dirty fighting he did is finally catching up to him.
