He has to have a dance partner first.

Froch only has a couple of fights left and he doesnt want to get schooled in his last fight in front of his home fans.

Kessler is semi retired and less relevant than he was.

Who outside of them is worth leaving the USA for?

why wouldn't he want a Froch rematch in England? he'd get much more exposure in front of 30,000 fans in Nottingham and would definitely get a bigger payday than fighting in front of 12 fans in Oakland

the only thing Ward has is his mythical P4P #2, Froch has the belts and bargaining power

The question is why would Froch want a Ward rematch....

You're assuming Froch wants a rematch.

Ward isn't his biggest potential fight, Chavez GG or even Degale would be much bigger fights for Froch, the only reason he'd possibly want to rematch Ward and get schooled again would be to try and avenge his loss

    There it is.

This is why the fight isnt going to happen in England.

Nothing to do with Ward being "afraid to travel". Froch doesnt want his last fight to be in front of his own fans and getting schooled.

Its odd that a guy who everyone says is a warrior is happy to accept his defeat and be considered the 2nd best fighter in his division.

His last 2 fights will be a relatively easy big money fight in Vegas against Chavez.

Then a nice retirement bout back home in front of a big crowd against DeGale.

So can we all stop the "Ward doesnt want to travel to England to fight Ward" and change it to "Froch doesnt want Ward to travel to England and fight him"

how do we know Froch doesn't want Ward? just because he doesn't mention him in the post-fight presser, doesn't mean Ward isn't an option, it wouldn't be that difficult to sell, Froch wanting to avenge his defeat to Ward, though it probably won't happen because either as you said, Froch won't want to go out on a loss in front of his hometown fans, and/or Ward will be wary of traveling to England because of BS stoppage/ crooked judging or whatever else, and who could blame him? despite all the pokes I've taken at Ward because of his inactivity, I'd fully understand why he wouldn't be happy at the prospect of fighting in Froch's hometown

Ward is willing to.come over to England for the Froch rematch, Hearn just has to make him an offer that's suitable considering how he holds a win over Froch, is undefeated & is the undisputed champion in Frochs division, as far as I'm aware both Froch & Hearn have said some things in the press but an offer has never been made.

An American who classes a fight in New Jersey as a fight "on the road" is blatantly warped.

You do realize that the distance from Nottingham to NJ, is not massive different from the Distance between Oakland and NJ right?

Anyway, im pretty sure Froch is the last guy that wants Ward to come fight in the UK.
