I've seen talk of Inoue vs Tank Davis.. but that's a pipe dream, 122 lbs vs 135 lbs..

Inoue vs Bam is very realistic, it's 122 vs 115 lbs and Bam is 24 years old and growing.. Same height and reach as each other, when Inoue was 24 he was fighting at the same weight class as Bam is now.

Let's see Bam VS Nakatani first.

I’m not even sure sure Bam would beat Takuma Inoue honestly

Bam has great names on his resume BUT past their best days. Inoue washes him.

They're only really one division apart

    Inoue

    Height: 5'5''
    Reach: 67½''
    Weight: 136lbs

    Bam-Rod

    Height: 5'4''
    Reach: 67''
Weight: 130lbs against Cuadras albeit two years ago now so he could be say 131-132lbs now given how he's young and still growing

Seems like only a couple of people around here have actually asked for it. Couple of people have asked to see Inuoe vs Loma as well, but only a couple. Seems like kind of a straw man to me. I could see Bam vs Inoue happening probably more likely than the preceding two. Rodriguez might ask for it if he's successful in his next fight or two. Especially if Inoue doesn't go up any more weight classes. I would certainly buy any of the three as a PPV however likely or unlikely.

Inoue is just so much better. I’d like to see Bam take on Nakatani at 118. That’s a very makeable fight that can either way.

Bam is very good, but those 7 pounds are two weight classes. If Bam keeps growing and Inoue stabilises weight, they could meet in the future.

Inoue is the only 1 who can beat Bam at 115 118 or 122. Be a wicked fight, hope Inoue can get over to the states.

I started clamouring for it seconds after he polished off the tiny frail walking corpse of Gallo Estrada.

Fernando Martinez, Junto Nakatani, Tanaka, Akhmadaliev, and Takuma Inoue all have very sizeable shots at beating him. Ioka if he's not too old has a shot at beating him. Bam is far from invincible and there are a number of fighters who are better or as good as him at the weights you mentioned.

Inoue is currently too strong and powerful for Bam . Bam needs to naturally grow into the Bantam and junior feather divisions when he's around 27 to 28 years old. By the time that happens Inoue will be a full blown featherweight.

Bam would, imo, be the bigger man against Inoue. He is a massive weight cutter and had a fight at super-featherweight when he was only 17 and he has grown significantly since then. He could easily make 122 and still rehydrate a sizeable amount of weight afterwards. I remember word about him walking around somewhere in the 140s. The kid is massive for the weight.
