Cintron should have just stepped up and fought PW at a later date. This shows he is not so eager to unify. Margo breaks him down in the later rounds again.
Often it's the Antonio Margarito sympathizers who make the attacks on fighters, and since attacking Kermit would devalue what Margarito did to him, they avoid talk of Kermit.
Arum is a piece of ****. He wants 2 of his fighters to have belts rather than 1. I'm not so sure we will see Margo vs Cotto when the time comes. Cotto should ditch Arum FAST
I guess getting battered by Daniel Santos earns you a shot at Floyd. Floyd and Oscar have only fought once, by the way.
Ahh, I could only assume that little icon was stirring up bull**** :good That's what I would of used it for anyway.
Isn't there enough idiotic bashing of fighters on here? atsch Your upset that he doesn't get unnecessary hate? This is unprecedented stupidity
There's nothing left to say. Fighting Margarito is a good thing and a personal thing but he's fighting Margo only because he ducked the guy who ALREADY BEAT Antonio so if he wins - which I'd consider an upset - wouldn't mean much. And he's not gonna win.
A quote from Arum GL: Kermit Cintron made it clear that he wants to unify titles with Cotto on April 26. ARUM: "We have a problem there and the problem there is Joshua Clottey, who we represent. Clottey won an eliminator and Clottey wants us to enforce his right to fight Cintron. We're not going to go ahead with Cintron in any fight other than Joshua Clottey. Cotto would love to fight Cintron, but he has to beat Clottey first or give up the title, that he can do. But I can't put myself in a position where, in order to make a Cotto-Cintron fight without giving the short stick to Joshua Clottey."
Thank you. I was too lazy to go and grab the exact quote. :good Arum's a ***** trying to protect cotto.
Man, I don't care about Jesse Feliciano or Cintron's emotional problems. Kermit can't call himself Killa and throw himself to the floor because of a hand injury while his opponent stays upright. Feliciano did well to point out afterwards who was on his feet at the end.
