Why Jones And Calzaghe Will Always Rate Higher Than Hopkins

He still would of got beat by those guys though even with the talent he had.

 

Very true but I don't think he would have been an easy fight for them and even in losing efforts would have proved he belonged at a level that he can only dream of now.

Could we stop saying "Hopkins in his 40's" as if its some kind of negative, Hopkins greatest sucess has been in his 40's.

Win or lose both Hopkins and Jones will always be considered greater than a Joe Calzaghe simply because the boy lacks balls and wasted his true talent fighting the 'safe' bums Frank Warren used to mastermind Joe's illusioned career. Joe quit for good reason since it was always Frank Warren who choose the timing of Joe's bouts and opponents, usually bums, second tier talent, or later, well past prime elites who he ducked in their primes.
