    DOnt know about Mayweather but i have to agree with the overall. TOday'S athlete are bigger, stronger, better. Nostalgia makes people say that they we're so much better in those days...blabla. SOrry. Lennox Lewis would kill Ali.

    Your argument is only half the picture. In boxing aspects other than physics also play a role. Hearns would annihilate mayweather anyday.

    So would Robinson and Lenoard. At 130 and 135 respectively Arguello and Duran would make PBF feel like he just spent the night in the 7th circle of hell, and the year of the fight makes absolutely no difference.

    Mayweather will always be scared of someone according to the muppets.

    He was scared of Cotto for 2 years apparently, but because everybody's golden boy got smashed to pieces by Margarito, that means it was actually Margarito who he's scared of...

    It's full of facts that nobody can argue with about the evolution of humans and our capabilities.

    Much better than the rubbish people spout in the classic forum about potential match ups that have so many variables that it's impossible to tell what would happen, but people state their opinion as fact anyway.....

    With the enormous wealth of boxing footage at your fingertips on the internet and the seemingly enormous gulf between the fighters of the 1940's and the fighters of today there should be no problem demonstrating the differences to the forum.

    That post contains facts about pole-vaulters and pictures of tennis players.

    McGrain, the thing is, you try to explain to people the differences using examples of boxers, but nobody listens.

    Sometimes you have to show how EVERY SPORT has developed and then people may think 'Hmmm, if every other sport has made such great strides forwards, then maybe boxing must have done this as well??'

    Damn, I knew Onourway was a simplistic, clueless ******, but this is just on another level.

    I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he's trolling, but he's shown how much of a mental midget he is in the past, so it's hard to be sure. Let's all treat him delicately from now on, it's obvious we're dealing with a "special person".
