sure they will. they might land no.1 over-all in medal standings. but are you talking about the boxing event only?
Of course I'm talking about boxing only. It's a foregone conclusion that China will be Top 3 (at least) in medal wins.
Sure there is. It's just concentrated in the production of campy Kung-Fu movies and sub-standard toys. It takes immense talent to churn out the products that fill 3/4 of the aisles in Wal-Mart.
i don't know about this. lot's of good amateur boxing countries like cuba, russia, former soviet states, thailand, etc. china placed 2nd in boxing in doha asian games and could have a good amateur boxing program right now. at least 2 gold medals will put any country in top 5.
Foregone conclusion that China will be at least top 3 in overall medals (not just boxing medals). Guess I forgot that part.
i got what you mean. your hope for top5 in boxing event. i think it's reachable. considering that china is the host and no need for china to enter the tough regional qualifiers. at least 2 golds and china will be top5 in boxing. :good
China does not have a tradition of pro boxing and this will take time to develop. Although not at the forefront of amateur boxing they do have some very good international boxers. The Russians are further down the road but even they have not yet reached anything like their full potential in pro boxing and China will, I am sure soon be producing pro boxers of international standard Current notable amateurs: - Light Flyweight World Ranked 1st (3rd p4p) Zou Shiming World Cahampion/Asian Games Champion Flyweight World Ranked 13th Yang Bo Featherweight World Ranked 19th Li Yang Light Welterweight World Ranked 7th Hu Qing Asian Games Champion Welterweight World Ranked 7th Hanati Silamu (CHN) Superheavyweight World Ranked 18th Zhang Zhilei (CHN) This content is protected
China is in a vast stage of growth right now. I can see them letting their elite boxers go pro in the very near future, because that means more money will go back to China when the government garnishes their wages.
they will still be working on better ways to cover up doping before releasing their genetically engineered fighters on the world stage. You just know what's in store at the olmypic boxing next year, if you though Roy Jones got ****ed over in Seoul you ain't seen nothing yet.......
