That is actually an awesome idea to have Thompson take the fight with Helenius...

I think it depends alot on whether Dimitrenko can get a K2 fight soon (eg the next Vitali fight). If that's impossible, then it might be worth it for AD to take the plunge and try to defend the belt against Helenius. Between Povetkin, Helenius, Thompson, and Arreola (and who knows maybe Haye too), K2 have plenty of opponents for 2012.

I'd also note I don't think Helenius automatically wins this, since Dimitrenko is clearly more athletic. If Dimitrenko can be very disciplined and stay away from Helenius for 12 rounds he could win a decision on his jab.

Uzbekistan is neither in Europe and therefore (of course) not in the EU either.

you do realise wlad beat the **** out of peter that night??regardless of peter putting him down 3 times (2 illegaly) he still lost a heavy ud..plus on top of that wlad has moved on from that if he was still fighting like he did against peter that night haye would have had more success than he did...wlad is far to good for helenuis.helenuis would be eating that jab all night his defence is shocking his footwork is shocking all he has is power thats it..in fact id go as far to say if wlad and helenuis met in december wlad would make him look like an amature
