If a man throws 800 punches, and the other man only threw 400...Even though they may have landed around the same...Who do you HONESTLY think the judges will give it???
Most judges are going to give it to the more aggressive fighter. This is why Clottey couldn't beat Williams unless he KOed him..Which won't happen.
Work rate is the reason that Paul Williams, and Antonio Margarito are so hard to beat. ****, even Cotto vs Margarito two judges had Marg ahead on the cards in the 11th...Even though Cotto pretty much took the first 6 rounds easily. Can't say I blame the judges though...It's hard to see a man that looks like the damn terminator, takes punches, and keeps moving forward, stalking his prey, and say the other fighter (who's running around the ring) won the fight.

This would be an excellent fight, I'm just hoping Williams is considering moving back down after his Middleweight fight next, some good fights to be made at Welterweight for him.

Hope for his health he stays at 154,do you think he like to be locked in dungeons for a week before the weigh-in?

Did he say he's having trouble making weight at 147?, if that's the case then I can see why he's boosting to 160 instead of 154, there's nothing worth mentioning for him to consider at 154.

What fight did you watch? Cotto definately lost round 2. He lost round 6 as well. Anyway, when a guy has good defense, and keeps countering you, your production will go down. Look at Quintana vs. Williams I. Williams only threw about 600 punches in that fight. Williams isn't going to keep throwing punches in bunches if they aren't landing and he's getting countered.

I think 154 would be the best division for Williams.. I dunno if he can beat any of the top guys such as Sturm, Wright, or even Sylvester.. Pavlik & Abraham would murder him..

They should fight since the other guys are taking a break.

He came into his last fight at 156. He usually comes in between 154-56 for his Welterweight fights. He sure as hell didn't look week in his last fight. The first Quintana fight was the only one where he looked lethargic.

If that's the case then 154 or 160 is the place to be, continuing to be weight drained for fights like that would get him KO'd soon. Even though I can't find any decent article so far of Williams and his team saying anything about having weight issues but coming in at 163-164 on fight night pretty much explains it for now.

Didn't they say they're coming back to Welterweight after the next fight?

Then if that's the case he's moving back down to Welterweight as he already said he will after his next fight and there's nothing to worry about unless said otherwise by him or his team like Cotto's team did at the end of his Light Welterweight reign.
