the boxing writers, historians and retired ATGs have already spoken. pac is a certified ATG.

I love how there's this sudden gap in memory from the Manny Pacquiao who was already "overperforming" at 126 and 130 and how there was doubt he could handle the mediocre David Diaz' size and strength.

So Manny one punch KO's Diaz and then he was a wimp for not taking more challenges at 135.

Then there were at LEAST 30 threads on here saying Roach was insane and inhumane for putting Manny in with Oscar at 147.

Manny gobbles up the Olden Boy and then it was Manny's fault that Oscar ate deer meat and Roach was suddenly a genius - The same people calling Roach inhumane were then saying he was cherry picking, conviently forgetting Roach said all along Oscar had trouble with southpaws and pulling the trigger anymore.

Then Manny fights Hatton at 140, Hatton's best weight, where he was the lineal title holder and Floyd Mayweather Snr spent more time telling the world how he was a better coach than the joke Roach instead of teaching Hatton how to cope with a southpaw. AND the classless piece of crap didn't even go into the ring to see how his fighter was after Pac wiped the floor with him.

Then Pac takes on 3 of the top welters in the sport in a row.

How you can not say that this body of work, unprecedented body of work, post his already HoF career below 130, is not at least worthy of some ATG status is beyond haterdom and into sheer denial.

I agree, the only atgs are Mayweather Jr, Ike Ibeabuchi, and absolute PRIME invincible exactly 20 seconds into the Spinks fight, Mike Tyson.
