What kind of fighter turns down a multi million pound, career high payday and the chance to win a belt against an "easy opponent"?

Didnt Quillin do something similar to avoid Golovkin?

It's funny how people always talk about Mayweather being a bad person...but nobody mentions Pacquaio.
Dude uses his fame to take advantage of systematic corruption, an evil deed that actually affects other people. Unlike Mayweather, where being a **** doesn't directly affect the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.

I guess people really fall for the Arum smoke-show. Thought ESB members would be a little more hip to classic PR tricks.

I like Khan. I just wish he fought Brook already, it looks ridiculous how he keeps avoiding a fairly good payday against somebody he claims is an easy opponent.

I believe its called ducking :good

    Its a very simple trick,

    A) Call out names of people you have no intention of fighting.
    B) Make it seem like everyone is ducking you
    C) Keep lying to people about anything and everything
    D) Avoid any mention of any names which pose a threat
    E) Avoid all punchers
    F) Fight leftovers and try and look amazing against them to convince people you are legit.

The step by step success of Amir Khan.

I think he'd have more of a chance against Mayweather than Pacquiao. I think Pacquiao would knock him out in 6-7 rounds.

I enjoy watching Khan fight. I think he's a talented boxer.

Quillin turned down a far-and-away career high $1.4mil payday to avoid Korobov, not Golovkin.

I think Amir Khan would give Floyd Mayweather Jr. a good fight because of his hand speed. Kell Brook fights tomato cans. Khan fights world class opponents. Why would Khan fight him?

You think Algieri is a world class opponent? Why exactly did Khan fight him instead of Brook who brings a major belt and a lot more money to the table? It's ok to be a Khan fan, it's not ok to be ridiculously irrational in defending him.

You can't be serious? He was good enough to fight Manny Pacquiao so of course he's world class. Khan dosen't want to fight Kell Brook because he hasn't fought a world class opponent. He also dosen't want a pay day.

When Algieri fought Pac he was undefeated and had a major belt. Brook's win over Porter is better than any single Khan win since Garcia fight. I'm not sure what you mean by "He also dosen't want a pay day", this is professional boxing we are talking about.

Oh my god man are you serious??

So because Algerie fought Pacquiao, Algerie is automatically world class? So not winning a single round and getting dropped 6 times isn't a big enough hint, right? :patsch

And even though he fought Algerie, people are arguing that Algerie may have even won. Con definitely didn't do enough to against him and definitely would be a huge waste of time to fight Mayweather.

    :huh

Pacquiao fought him because he wore the WBO belt a division below where Pac did and was coming off a high profile W over Provodnikov.

Algieri then went on to be completely wiped out by Pacquiao..
