No im saying that Salita is yet another false opponent mandatory or not.He should have fought Murray whilst at domestic level thus killing any arguments about it.But no he side stepped the top 5 British lightweights and Yuri Romanov for the European in favour of a Frank Warren selected route to riches. And people are now lauding him for it.Pathetic

So boxing politics have nothing at all to do with rankings?Martin Christiansen springs to mind!

I was hearing somewhere Salita has been WBA No.1 for around 1 year i think, well before Khan was in a world title picture.

I didn't say that, I said Frank Warren has nothing to do with Salita's WBA ranking which he has held for nearly a year....

No ones 'lauding' him, his did take a shortcut to the title but that the benifits of having an Olympic medal and Warren as a promoter.

None of that means that Warren made Salita mandatory for Khan or that Murray should be fighting for a world title. Your major complaint now seems to be that Khan didn't fight Murray a couple of years ago....old news and not really something thats worth holding over Khans head for the rest of his career.

These have been the top five lightweights for the entire of the past four years? The likes of Earl, Limmond and Lawton never got a look in? Interesting...
