I don't know why people dislike him. I'm indifferent to him personally, but I really can't see why anyone would dislike him, he's a fairly modest lad and doesn't come across as a dick very often.
I don't like his style of pitter patter punches. Complete lack of sophistication in his aproach- just throw as many punches as possible ala Joe Clazaghe. I don't liek watching it and I am not impressed with Cleverely as a boxer, I think he stands far too close and doesn't get his distance correct and ends up not getting full extension or power in his punches. Defence is pretty poor as well. Not got a likeable persona either. Pl;us I am pretty predjudiced against Welsh sports people. Hope Bellew smashes him.
Bryn my dear boy, as a frequent visitor to your charming country I do have certain opinions about Wales, by which of course I mean no personal offense. Leeks are indeed a personal favourite vegetable of mine. Post-fight Cleverly was excellent. I hope this continues but fear that I may like him even less in the near future.
