We could say it is due to his drunken blackened womanising heart, but some here tout such as virtues.

Oscar was a guy that many people wanted to see loose since the beginning for whatever reason, envy, olympic gold medal, too rich too soon. I caught Oscar as a teenager when he was in the Olympics and was sold on him then. Oscar got the gold medal and went into the professionals making big money from then on. He went on a rampage through the lighter weights knocking out many people's heroes along the way. He entered the welterweight to fight Whitaker, Quartey, and Carr, and pissed off the fans of those guys as well until he came to Trinidad. Now, everyone that hated him felt that now he would be shown up. By loosing his undfeated record they thought they would probably loose their hate for him and he did loose but the hate didn't stop. Why? Because he really won, the boxing world rather than throwing him down picked him up and Trinidad didn't get the spotlight after all. When Oscar looses to Mosley twice its still not enough because the first time it was so close and became an instant boxing classic war and the second time he lost, guess what, he won! Even in getting ko'd by Hopkin's Oscar still got adulations for winning the first part of the fight and daring to go toe to toe, even surprising Hopkins who expected him to fight on the backfoot. Oscar haters will probably only stop hating once Oscar gets brutally beat down, but the thing is, the guy hits very hard and has exceptional ability. I hope they don't hold their breaths their whole lives. :hi:

Its because hes cheated a bunch of fighters from their wins, opportunities, rankings, rights, money, etc... and like a selfish punk pays to have himself glorified in the ranking, press, forums, courts, etc...;)

What makes it even worst is that many fans like myself felt there was finally a good guy to compete with the likes of Don King

Most of the haters are jealous "kids".

Everyone has faults, business decisions can sometimes make them faults appear much worse.

But saying that, his people havn't answered me for over a week and don't look like answering, so soon i might join the list of haters.

For now i'll keep admiring what he's done and how he went about it.

By the way, where is Jack "the ****witt" Prescott ?

I agree. Also don't forget he beat Chavez, which took me a while to get over; but I got over it and so should everyone else.
