    Winning is good.

    Losing is bad.

Moses is the latest poster boy for the current generation of fighters who a few generations ago would be fighting 6- and 8-round prelims at Madison Square Garden at this stage (12-20 fights) but are put into the pretend role of contender and ‘future of the division’ before they’re even main event level.

"I didn't train properly for the biggest fight of my life ... but I will next time" is the quitter's mantra.

Of course he quit. He didn't get knocked out from a punch like Rahman hit Lewis with, or Lewis hit Rahman with, did he?

He just got suddenly "tired" in the only round where his opponent started laying heavy leather on him.

Guys get a second wind all the time. But he was too tired. And then feigned being so hurt that everyone reserved judgement that he might have some brain injury or something.

When he was immediately released from the hospital, he was exposed for what he was - a fat, 21-year-old professional athlete who didn't train properly and was suddenly falling apart as the pressure mounted.

He's the classic bully who folded.

There are too many fighters who box on with major injuries while down on the cards who don't quit ... to put up with this nonsense.

That's part of being a professional, too.

He didn't get the chance to get a second wind. He also wouldn't get a second wind as he didn't train properly for the fight, as you have pointed out.

Injuries and fatigue are completely different. You can fight on through injuries, you can fight on through tiredness. You can't fight on through being completely spent. Eventually your body gives out. Added to this, he had some big fella punching him.

Crushing fatigue + big guy punching you = you're ****ed

Hrgovic got a second wind while Moses was punching him.

I'm not giving this joker any pass. You don't get carried from the ring on stretcher when YOU'RE TIRED.

There are pictures of people actually lifting him off the stool. So, the obvious worry people have is that the guy has some brain injury.

His exit from the ring was so over-the-top melodramatic, given he'd suffered ZERO injuries and was just tired. NONE.

    What a quitter.

How do you bounce back from this when everyone now knows you weren't injured at all? The hospital released you shortly after you got there because you weren't injured?

Again, how is this CLOWN going to react when he's ACTUALLY INJURED in a fight?

I think we have our answer.

I think most people realised he was getting on a stretcher because he was knackered. He clearly looked knackered during the last couple of rounds of the fight. He couldn't lift his arms up to defend himself and he was staggering backwards. That's what someone who has nothing left looks like. They look punch drunk. I don't think there were many people thinking Moses was being stretchered out because he was injured as Moses never looked injured during the fight. He looked exhausted.

Hrgovic got a second wind and Itauma didn't because Hrgovic had done the necessary work in training camp.

I don't see why this seems so difficult for you to understand. You have rightly pointed out that Moses didn't train properly for the fight. You watched Moses come out with a game plan of throwing bombs from the off at a rate that even if he had trained properly he would still find hard to keep up with, then you watched him tire out.
