Izu is 235 6'4/6'5...nothing small about him. Haye is alsoa built 6'3 guy at 220 plus...really all those guys are pretty well built 225er's or so Jennings? . I dont actually think there is any sub 210 guy which is why its a wasted weight class that doesnt make sense.

I would consider 225 and over SHW.

Nah, I like Miller. I was on the bandwagon back when he stopped Muralimov in 2. But after seeing his weight, I didn't think he'd have the gas to apply the same pressure and Washington(despite his also poorgas tank)would do enough to grab a controversial SD so couldn't resist the urge to root for the underdog.

And yeah, Miller would indeed be a better Fighter if he was around 260 lbs.

They're heavyweights to me. I've always thought of "super-heavyweights" as the big lumbering oafs and obese whales who are over 300 lbs. In MMA the Heavyweight limit is 265, which I think makes sense. But in boxing... Ask yourself how many guys would benefit from that? It would hardly make a difference and only put pressure on a handful of guys, none of which are top 10 fighters.

I understood that sentiment.. But knew that with Washingtons DNA against Millers that the weight wouldn't matter, it only prolonged the inevitable. Miller at 260-270 probably would have had Washington out of there in 2-3 rounds.

Haye weighed too much against Bellew, he weighed 210 pounds in his prime against Wlad and Chisora.

Povetkin is around 225 pounds in most of his fights, Jennings as well.

Ugonoh is a former Cruiserweight and weighed 230 pounds against Breazeale, all of them are small compared to
guys like Wlad Klitschko and Anthony Joshua.

Theres no way Haye is winning at top at 210 pounds against a skilled 240 pounder like Wlad.He was simply to small for Wlad. Unless a lucky injury had happened( Byrd/ Vitali) hes not winning that match.Im not so sure it was weight and not Injury ....Haye in my eye wouldnt need world class skill to defeat Bellew.

I consider 225 and over SHW.

Izu 6'5 frame make him no small Cw at all....hes the average HW which is SHW if they made that class...ppl just cant comprehend that a SHw division IS the division now...lol

He would have guys like Usyk/Beterbiev and Gassiev..all who could have the ability to beat him.

Yeah, i think you're right but really most heavyweights today are 235 pounds or above like Wlad, Joshua, Ortiz, Whyte, Breazeale, Miller, Parker, Pulev etc., so i would say a 225 pounds guy is a relatively small heavyweight for
    todays standards.

Haye is really impressive though when you consider he is a small heavyweight, he could definitely compete with
bigger heavyweights even though not the likes of Wlad, Joshua etc.

Well you still have to give the fighter who is borderline on those weights options. Making it 235 then the gap from 200 to 235 is off center. Theres still REASONABLE guys who could fight effectively at HW at 225 or about mark.We dont want lose the small man here indefinatley...UNLESS they make 300 pound super specimens of all muscle at 6'8 in a lab in the future...lol

I wouldn't make it 235, i would make it 225 as you said because guys like Povetkin although "small" could defeat
bigger guys, i can't remember a heavyweight champion under 220 pounds in the last 20 years except David Haye.

Haye was also a power puncher which goes a long way.Not everyone at that weight would last long going against other power punchers...they soley rely on out pointing them. Povetkin is also tough.....i cant understand why based on a few guys they cant change the weight limits here and readjust them.....its as backwards as you can get. The idea for any top guy is to become the sole champion. These guys werent even close wiith Wlad in the picture at any point.

Foreman had tremendous power, the only light heavy atv 6ft 3" at light heavy who could punch like that was Bob Foster because it`s hard to generate power from a body that slender, power comes from your legs look at Foremans legs compared to how they would look at cruiser! 217 was his best fighting weight, some people can only fight their best at a certain weight, he`d have to starve himself to make cruiser it doesn`t matter about his height Tyson was between 5ft 9"-5ft 11" and there`s no way he could make cruiser he`s just a chunky guy not all bodies are the same no matter what the height, Tommy Hearns could never have been a good cruiser and he was 6ft 1" his best weight was welter!

I thought cruiser limit was under 190lbs, Louis would have had a prime weight between 188-218 he would have been a lot slower at 218lbs so I don`t think that weight is anywhere his prime weight but I get your point. Dempsey though being as low as 165lbs at some stage meant his bone structure must have been pretty thin.
