Why was Klitschko more agressive than usual?

    :good

Absolut right. The Champ has to fight the mandatory, and Wlad did it, he put Thompson away.

The knockout was a gift to Emanuel Steward on his birthday

I get Thompson was the mandatory challenger.......but my question is why a guy who has only fought once in the last year and 3 times in the last 2 years could become the No.1 contender?:?

Did the same against JMM. Im gonna check this out, I was checking out Brook over Wlad, which is sad, but a exciting Wlad would help the heavyweight division.

I agree with everything you said. I'm not sure Klitschko was more aggressive than normal given the first few rounds. I definitely noticed a lot more head movement, the crouching and his hands being lower.

    Because of Tony's reach.

Kessler is very similar to Wlad in strategy.

Uses the jab to keep the risk/reward on his side for the first half of the fight. However, against Froch and Green they had much longer reach and he could not rely so much on the jab, so he fought a far more agreesive way than he normally does against both..

    Same for Wlad.

Which is why ould have been great to see Wlad vs Valuev..

    Op is trolling. Lol.

    Wlad didn't see anything.

Manny described Thompson as being -mentally checked- : 'he's getting tired mentally more so than physically, you're applying alot of pressure to him...etc'

    Ask the IBF.

Chambers was injured and so the IBF said Thompson is the No. 1 Challenger. Great right hand! Very good punch.
