Maybe Pac is gonna' make Marquez wait 4 years like Marquez did to him.

Anyway, Marquez is signed to fight Casamayor, so it's premature to say Pac "won't" give him another fight. Manny was in negotiations to fight Oscar, that fell through DAYS ago. Considering Marquez is contracted to fight Casa, it's way early to start questioning Pac just yet. I bet it will happen, even if it's not straight after Maquez-Casa and Pac-Soto.

After hearing all the recent talk from Freddie Roach about wanting to sit Manny out until a big fight comes along, I'd LOVE to see them not sign to fight Soto, wait for the winner of Marquez-Casa and then fight the winner. It's much more meaningful than beating a Soto who decisively lost his most recent BIG fight against Guzman. I think if Marquez moved up a few years ago Casa would beat him, but I have a hard time seeing 2008 Casa doing it.

That's exactly what you're GOING to see, because one thing Manny's people won't do: Let him fight a great fighter who's NOT past his prime. They saw what happened with JMM, and Soto is very likely to upset Manny, he's a ****ing beast. If Manny had half the heart that MAB and EM did in their day, he would have already fought Soto, Valero and Guzman.

Those names must not translate in flip, because I've never heard them pass his lips.

I dont agree......JMM mentioned MAB and Morales often after his fights back in the day where Morales and MAB were fighting eachother......
......and both of them fought other fighters besides eachother, but they were careful not to mention the name of JMM.......MAB especially went about his business as if JMM was never even in the picture.
Not once did I ever here MAB back then acknowleadge the existence of JMM.....instead, MAB was too busy fighting the Salud's and Tapia's of the world....fighters who were smaller than he was and had seen their better days.

But I agree, you wont see Pac fighting JMM anytime soon. Manny Knows he's been stylistically dominated each time, and though JMM brings about 500K to 600K in PPV sales if he fights Pac......Pac I believe is looking to break the million PPV sale mark and cashout.

Pac was in supreme shape for JMM in that rematch, Roach even said before the fight took place that Manny was in as good a shape than he's ever seen him in, and that if Marquez beat him, he'd just have to tip his hat to the better fighter.
As we know, the consensus by the experts and polls everywhere in forums like these, tabbed JMM the winner of that fight.......thats why since Pac was lucky enough that his name value played a role with the judges......I dont think they'd want to push their luck unless another fight with JMM would guarantee them well in excess of 10 million dollars.....
....and that just is'nt going to happen!

The judges make their ruling, but the people are very seldom fooled.
We all know who really won!:thumbsup

I have been pointing that out repeatedly but some people are ignoring the facts and infact was crying robbery in JMM's favor.

    :rofl :nut

Fact is . . . JMM should have lost hos title via split decission the first time around.

It's not hard to identify who are the desperate dumb asses from real fans.

Yeah right . . . JMM was robbed twice.

You want to talk about a scoring discrepancy, there was a judge in that first fight who gave Manny 7 rounds!:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl
I have'nt found a ******* yet, who gave Manny that amount of rounds in that first fight!:yep

.....and you want to talk about a scoring discrepancy from the biggest ******* on this board?????
PacDbest was one of the first to come on this board with a scorecard for the JMM-Pac rematch.....he was to embarrassed to post a winning score for Pac so he posted a scorecard of a draw........
.....but once other tards started posting winning Pac scores, PacDbest comes in here announcing that he'd rewatched the fight, and that he was changing one of the rounds and giving it to Pac.:patsch :rofl :rofl :rofl

Talk about scoing discrepancies!:nut

JMM won 10 out of 12 rounds in that fight. If it weren't for the judges being blown away by the first round it would have been JMM's fight.

Re MAB, he wasn't busy fighting the Tapia's and Salud's of the game, he was busy fighting the Hamed's, the McKinney's, the Morales and the Junior Jones of boxing. I repeat: Manny WILL NOT fight a great or even very good fighter that is still in his prime. He only fights JMM when he's absolutely forced into it. We'll never see him in the ring against Guzman, Valero or Soto or any other fighter who isn't pre-shopworn for him. Hell, Jaurez would be too dangerous an opponent for Roach.

Even if I like Pac as a fighter, Im one of the people here who underrate him the most.

I think he's got a 6 out of 10 chin for the lightweight class.

I think he's more of a pressure fighter than a true lightweight KO artist.

I think he's lost A LOT of his in the ring aggression and activity ever since Pac-Morales I.

I think he cant handle big natural jr. welterweight fighters and higher.

He's not a perfect fighter and IMO, he's far from being a top 10 ATG.
But you're just not giving him his due. Honestly, man.

This will be my last post in this thread. Im done here.

What? Haven't you heard that Valero was supposed to be the first choice for his next fight until DLH came into the picture? Haven't you heard that Soto is in line in case the DLH fight won't push through? Guzman . . . haven't you heard that Guzman is fighting for a title next? And who the hell is Jaurez????

It's either you don't know **** or your just another hater. Most likely both.

    **** off noob . . . I don't care what a clown like you think. :deal

You don't read too much news do you? Valero was Team Pac's FIRST CHOICE for a November showdown. Valero's team have already sent his medical records to the NSAC but until NOW the results havent been released yet. Team Pac could not wait any longer because Nov is getting near. So they chose Soto for his opponent instead. Way to make a fool of yourself. :happy

Oh yeah EM of the 2nd Pac fight and MAB of the 1st Pac fight >> Guzman and Soto of those time periods.

Keep discrediting Pac. I think your gaining a little bit of success

    Divac . . . divac . . . divac . . . your **** is getting old . . . you always find a way to justify your JMM nuthugging.

Who cares about the *******s? There are *******s and your a JMMtard . . . so that makes it even.

You keep justifying JMM being robbed getting the raw end of the deal
offIcially JMM got a draw by way of a scoring error . . . and JMM lost on the second via close SD (115-112; 112-115; 114-113) . . . if you can't accept boxing as it is . . . then get out and stop watching boxing.

That will make your life eassier. :yep

You noticed how he's so obsessed with Pac-JMM that you seldom see him in other JMM related threads? I mean I don't see him in those JMM-Casa threads that have been popping up lately. I only saw him post once and that's it. You'd think he'll be posting there more because of half the people picking Casa to beat JMM. I bet you that if Casa's name was replaced by Pac, he'll be posting there a hell of a lot more writing these long ass essays on how Pac got dominated and how JMM will again dominate him in the 3rd fight.

I guess his obsession for Pac-JMM overshadows his being a fan of JMM. Virtually everytime he posts you'll see him squeezing Pac into his post and saying the exact same **** he's saying now.

Its in the past now, divac. Let go. :good

i think its because jmm has not made a name for himself at the time... i don't seriously think both of them especially morales would duck jmm and in a fight stylistically analyzing both fights both would have a good chance to beat jmm.
