I thought a loss record is still a loss no matter what...

He knows this. He is trying to show his unfettered love and admiration for his God Margarito.

Margarito loss. Paul beat him with a UD. Enough said.

Paul Williams wants to fight him, Cotto wants to fight him, Clottey wants to fight him, Mosley wants to fight him, Santos wants to fight him. Where are you getting the no one wants to fight him bull****?, this isn't 2006 anymore and even back then it was bull****.

    Because:
He's beatable for one. (Refer to PTP's resume):deal
He's now a big draw so a fight against him represents a good payday.:deal
    To win his belt.:deal
To be recognized as perhaps as the best fighter in the best division.:deal
A fight against him would be exciting for the fans.:deal
A fight against him is good for the sport.:deal

harsh...ive seen other responses of his and although you are correct in saying he lacks depth i think theyre still somewhat respectable opinions as opposed the HUGE number of lame ****s thinking Calzaghe is the GOAT (which would mean greater than SRR, JCC, and Ali  :-( )

and i see what he means by Baldomir 2...it would be a bit more competitive considering the workrate of Margo, but the relentlessness, slow speed, shitty defense, AWESOME chin, and size difference greatly mirrors that of BALDOMIR...

the only thing that sorta changes the odds a bit or doesnt mirror is Power (which isnt all that great come to think about it...he doesnt have one punch KO power...it takes several blows before an opponent goes down not to mention he had to eat about 3 counter shots before landing one of his own.) and workrate...which i dont really think is WIDELY different...different but not DRAMATICALLY different

so again...competitive...but Gayweather has more than enough stamina to backpedal his way to a points decision

he backed out of the fight because there wasnt money involved...no one knew WTF Margo was until he beat Cotto (outside of the boxing circle that is)...and they dont call him Money Gayweather for nothin...if it makes money, it makes sense...and in this case...it didnt...for Gayweather that is...in everyone elses mind...this wouldve been an interesting fight to watch
