Hopefully Zab can get down to 140 were he belongs...He's has talent but I think the Welterweights were just to big for him which may have cause him to lose his confidence in the major fights in the past...He could be champ at 140 IMO!:good
zab is a great figther and he is fighting a better weight class.his name is still somewhat of a draw and hes given the role as a gate keeper.hes the guy you fight if you want to know if you are really good or just all talk. i expect judah to put the 140 divsion to sleep !
I like Zab, he is an entertaining fighter. Either he KO's people or get's KO'ed. Either way something happens.
A big name, who will be in the fight, but will probably lose. He's the perfect opponent.. he's like Mayorga (when Mayorga doesn't disappear). A good name, who isn't a can, but probably won't lose, but will test a guy.
Zab is easy pickings right now. I'm not sure if the man can win another title. Love to see him fight Ricardo Torres. Should be fun to watch as long as it last.
That last part really answers the question....Zab is NEVER in a dull fight, and his name looks good on anybody's resume. However, he should never be taken lightly, as he's always one counter left uppercut from putting away just about anybody in his weight range.
Good point, and to add....Zab loves to fight!!! and is reportedly very easy to negotiate with, as hell pretty much take whatever decent deal is thrown his way, not a ducker or an "out-pricer" if ya' catch what I'm tryin' to say.
He's been a big name fighter for a long time and he's been in many big fights (to his credit...even tho he lost many of those fights)...You 'deserve' fights by promoting ur fight (talking **** like he does), providing entertaining fights (which he generally does), and taking on risky fights.
