    A. whyte is the interim champion, so whats the points of being interim if you only get 80/20 and you arent guaranteed to be next in line for a shot

    B. Putting aside his interim status, he has grinded harder than most of the top WBC contenders and Fury to earn his WBC status/ranking. Fury was handed everything on a silver platter, privileged, entitled. Whyte deserves more based on effort and ranking otherwise why does the WBC ranking system exist if it doesnt give you any benefit at all?

    C. Despite what anyone would have you believe otherwise, Whyte has extremely high commercial value in the UK. To date, he has sold more tickets and PPVs than any other non-titelist that is active right now in any division, or historically. Total: 2.5 Million PPVs and 100,000 tickets sold. 500+ active heavyweights, 10,000+ active boxers out there and none of them doing the same numbers as Whyte in non-title bouts as a non-titelist.

    D. Fury by conparison, only managed to scrape 9500 ticket sales against Wallin and Schwarz
Combined. Yes Mr Reader, you read that correctly. Combined! And this was after the Wilder fight (where he should have gained a massive boost in popularity) and whilst being promoted by two of the longest standing active Boxing Promoters... Bob Arum and Frank Warren of Top Rank and Queensbury promotions respectively.

    E. Fury has repeatedly said on camera that he will give Whyte his shot when he is champ because he knows whyte deserves it and Furys dad also stated the same sentiments.

    F. Fury has also repeatedly said he doesnt care about the money, he was driving a mercedes as a teenager and born into affluence. And he also vowed to give away his purse to charity in the past.

    G. Fury has repeatedly stated that he could not care less about the belts and that he is in it for Legacy.

    H. Fury has a poor track record defending titles and walked away from the sport when he got the belts because he got bored.

    I. Discounting his fights Fury had with Wilder given that he was gifted those opportunities and didnt work for them and that any WBC heavwyeight would happily lay down to fight wilder and collect a pay cheque..:. Who then has Fury really fought as a contender in his comeback? Pianeta Schwarz Seferi Wallin. Barely top 60 guys. Is then then a man more deserving of Whyte who fought top 15 contenders consistently? Not the actions of a man who would walk through guys like Whyte. Shout out to Hughie Fury the real fighting man, Pulev Parker Povetkin all before his 23rd bday as a novice.

    J. Whyte is interim, he is the highest ranking WBC contender and has been for a long time. He isnt just any common challenger or the next available guy. So why the 80/20 low ball? Not even the Whyte haters thought that was agreeable before the WBC supposedly mandated the split. But as we all know the WBC guidelines are very vague and open to any interpretation the WBC see fit.

    K. I see “ten million” as a figure being touted a lot with regards to Whytes purse against Fury and how he should take it and be happy. This is silly. This is not how negotiations or any type of commercial business transaction is done. People here are deliberately trolling and being obtuse. What matters is the percentage split not a flat fee. Just like when you sell a house, you dont sell it for 50% just because 250K sounds like a lot of money and more than people in Africa make. 80/20 treats Whyte like a charles martin, frank Sanchez, kabayel etc. Its BS. The rankings have to mean something, Whytes UK commercial value has to add something and Whytes Interim Status has to add something. Otherwise please tell one benefit of being an interim champ in WBC. Whyte made over 5 million against Chisora in rematch. Fury is the guy who came from money and doesnt care about money, whyte is a guy who grew up struggling and hasnt made anywhere near as much as Fury has made... so Why doesnt Fury act a bit more charitable and generous about things he doesnt care about?

He’s been there and done that. He got 5 million against Klitckho, bought the ferrari got bored of the lifestyle.

Fury earned his status by going toe to toe 3x with the hardest puncher in the Division. He did this while Whyte literally got KTFO by an old and shot Povetkin. Whyte avoided Wilder as did AJ. The only Brit with the balls to fight Wilder was Fury. Fury 80% Whyte 20%. Case closed.

In case it went way over your head, I was referring to how Fury got his first title shot against Wilder being unranked and unheard of in the WBC ranking system. Ahead of 15 ranked contenders.

Balls to fight Wilder you say? All he had to do was say yes? He was offered a fight the same way Stiverne got a fight TWICE and Ortiz TWICE. They all got it free.

meanwhile Whyte offered 9 Million dollars to fight Wilder. Thats 7 million more than Wilders highest payday.

but let’s pretend those facts never happened.

Lets go by actions speak louder than words instead with regards to who has the biggest CAHONAS.

Fury fought four (pianeta schwarz Wallin Seferi) top 60 guys out of his last seven fights when the other three were against the same person technically challenged Champ Wilder.

Wilder fought a long line up of less than mediocre opposition with Ortiz the only stand out name outside of Fury and Ortiz in 40 plus fights.

And then we have Dillian Whyte who fought povetkin twice, Chisora twice, Rivas, Parker, Helenius all top 15 guys in NON TITLE bouts.

    Resume speaks volumes

    case closed.

Nothing you said refutes my facts. Whyte was KTFO by a shot fighter while Fury was fighting the hardest puncher in the division. Whyte even ducked Wallin. All this points to Whyte getting his 20% , his biggest payday. If Fury is generous 25%. Whyte hasn't done squat the past two years, except Povetkin. Low level opposition. These are the facts. Whyte should take the fight. Hell, give'em 30%. He isn't beating Fury.

    well lets analyse your facts.

Whyte was KOd by Povetkin TRUE

    Povetkin was shot FALSE

Wilder being hardest puncher in division UNVERIFIED

    Whyte ducked Wallin FALSE

Povetkin being low level opposition FALSE

One out of five, terrible. Almost as terrible as Fury and Wilders resume.

If 90kg cunningham and anorexic wilder can floor fury several times, than Whyte can and will do the same. I mean cunningham has 12 kos in 40 fights, and Wilder fought mostly nobodies.

Whyte beat Parker an ex champion who beat Ruiz who beat AJ, his up there. Is beating Wilder impressive? Why

You're drunk if you don't think Povetkin was shot and was therefore not low level opposition. His fight with Hunter showed it. He was gifted a draw he did not deserve. Both his fights with Whyte showed it.

Whyte ducked Wallin claiming injury that was never verified.

My statement of achievement between Whyte and Fury the past two years is simple, verifiable, fact. Fury fought who many believed was the #1 or #2 HW in Wilder- also universally annoited as the hardest punching HW, with some extending that to all time! Whyte tried to play it safe with Povetkin and paid dearly for it.

The point of being interim champion is to enhance the marketability of your fights while you wait for your mandatory shot at the proper world title. Nobody forced Whyte to be an interim champion. It is something his promoter specifically requested, knowing full well that the WBC rules and regulations clearly state that interim champions aren't given any special consideration when it comes to the purse bid split.

This is false. Whyte refused numerous final eliminators and has still never ever faced the leading available contender. Fury is a much bigger star, a much bigger attraction, and there's nothing wrong with adjusting the split from 70/30 to 80/20. When Fury was mandatory to Klitschko, the split was adjusted to 80/20 as well. This is nothing unusual.

Fury made $30,000,000 in his last fight because he's a big star all over the world. Whyte likely made a couple million bucks in his last fight because he's completely unknown outside of the UK. If ever there was a fight where it was justified to adjust the split to 80/20, this is one of them.

Fury made $12,500,000 against Wallin and $12,500,000 against Schwarz and his star power has increased exponentially since those fights. He's a much bigger star than Whyte, a much bigger attraction than Whyte, and makes a lot more money than Whyte.

Whyte doesn't even deserve a shot at the title, he should take whatever scraps are thrown his way just for the opportunity!

Talk about a fighter who has been the cause of all of his own problems.

What makes this exciting is precisely the fact that Whyte is not a top fighter, just a very good one. Fury only rises to the quality of his opponents so I think he will underestimate Whyte.

“Many believed” “universally annointed” just making it up as you go along... unless you have surveys to show us?

how many is... many in your world? 6 people in your local bar?

Hope it does happen, Whyte will put a beating on Fury.

Wallin smashed Fury, Cunningham floored him hard, and anorexic beanpole Deontay Wilder can take 30 rounds of being punched in the face repeatedly by Fury without getting knocked out.

Fury with a 60 pound weight advantage.

Thats kinda pathetic! The Physics of Fury not being able to knock down Wilder who is 6 foot 7 with 13 inch calves, 17 inch thighs lmao

    its just too funny.
